Yeah I am talking about both the tv and movie actors/actresses. They r paid so high without any apparent reason.
And what working hours do they crib about? As u said, many ppl work for 12 or even much more hrs per day without such a fat pay cheque. Moreover, if u consider the merit of the work, in my opinion acting would fall short when compared to many other professions.

I am not saying that acting is a cake walk, may be it is difficult. But there are many other jobs which are much more demanding and for a change requires some brain too and ppl do it without getting such a hefty amount in return.

Oh whole hearted agree with you…. And what makes it worse is the fans!! I don't say acting is a piece of cake either, but I find there are a lot more professions were people work more for far less and still feel rewarded! For many, it's the work that is the reward.

Risks are high in many other jobs too, in fact far higher risks. In Defence services for eg., but they are not paid very high though they very well deserve to be. There are other such examples as well.

Yup, exactly. If I can't handle the pressure it is my personal problem. But one need not blame the whole system cause they are being paid astronomical amount for their time.

Any person at any given day will spend the hard earned money to watch these stars than give it for a good cause. Going for a movie and lets say eat out with friends - 500 bucks - is done with fun & joy. The same 500 bucks if asked to spend on people struggling to meet days need or education or meal or even development of the place we live in will need quite a bit of thinking and deciding for a yes, if it is at all for a yes.

Actors are paid because they can be used to get those money out of people easily.

I agree to the point that the actors are high revenue earning creatures and so they are paid more. But, the amount is so astronomical without any reason cause even if they were paid less they would act coz thats the only thing they know😆.

About the risk of loosing money, guess the risk of loosing life is still more important than the risk of loosing money.
