yaaron, this thought abt whether Cyril loved Tessa came from Tessa's dialogues in the climax i think. she tells cyril that the reason why he didnt try to finish off her even after finding out her disguise , is that "may be somewhere, he too loved her". n cyril's response indicates that he doesnt refute that statement. but whatever done by cyril before n after that doesnt indicate any lind of a feeling called "love" in any sense. 😲

right after that inhuman attack on her, we can see he is all disturbed n even behaves as if he has lost every control over himself. At that stage, we already know he is a cheat, n he is cheating Tessa. but still there r some scenes like that. may be they did that to create a suspense loop looming over the viewer... because the first time i saw the movie, i thought "is this the point, where Cyril realises what a cruelty he has done to her... n the subsequent scenes of taking care of her cemented that thought. but when he repeats his crime, i was shocked... may be this was what the director wanted... dark all the way

I am here too, but clueless about Tessa and Cyril as I haven't seen the movie!!!
