Well I'm in a different time zone so this is a first chance I had to put a proper thought into it, please bare with me...
I'm not gonna get into too much here... as usual, I'm always aware that this is a public forum...
But here are some points I want to explore a bit:
Does Colors want P back--quite possible...
Prashant has stated that if he knew...(meaning the impact on the biz) he would never let her go (we have heard that it was PH actually hat kicked her out and maybe that's where his fault lies as he didn't fight to keep her). Colors is struggling big time, we all know why 😉 None of their shows are working out, so if you check the news you will see that they are revamping many shows (drastically). So no doubt about it they are in deep shit (can I say this word?)
I have personally wrote to Colors top management telling them what will happen to their business and that they will be right here where they are today.
Was Prats offered BB--quite possible...
The same way they used JDJ to hold on to Sid, they might try same approach with her and right now BB is the only thing they have going where they can use her (can't bring her back as A and I will not get into why, but I know and understand)
Why JDJ and BB are not good options...
reality shows are about personal competition... they are scripted (not real at all) and very controlling, meaning you will have a role to play to create drama (can't jut sit there and be yourself, the nice person you are) and the only drama you can expect on BB is to pin a one against another on a personal level aka outrages situations and confrontations) JDJ as dance competition is less offensive but really not that far off... you dance what you told...
Actors need to make living...
I understand they have bills to pay and lifestyle to maintain and it's not easy to turn down big money. Sid is the head of a household and he himself has said that he is back on TV because he needs money. So now we know that Prats has purchased a place to live so she has mortgage to pay.
Why are we so emotional over this...
Because we recognize their potential and understand how things work in this biz. we don't talk here about who we are and what we do for living, but I will just say that we are one hell of a bunch of experts in our respective fields and that's why our fight for mission impossible actually delivered results. we are not fans of Sid and/or Prats but well whishers for their long term career, so we get upset when they do or about to do something "stupid" that might undermine that golden career. We want them in acting roles. We are bunch a mothers trying to put our kids on the right road and point in a proper direction.
What we ultimately want...
We want them together in a show that would showcase their talent and raise that talent to a greatness that we know they are capable of as they have already shown it to us. they do have what it takes to become living legends... but they need to make that goal, recognize what it takes to achieve it and go for it in a smart way (they need a good manager).
Waiting is a bitch... (I hope here this word is not considered offensive in this context)
It takes time and resources to bring a new show into production... even if you have a script on a back-burner it can still take a year or more... (I know... ouch!)
What are our little stars supposed to do while waiting...
Show biz is a funny business... it's hard, ungrateful, not based on hard work, talent is not the only thing required for success, it's all about perception and illusion and it has a very short memory--you are as good as your last performance and are associated with the last thing you did.
All great actors in US carefully choose their roles, but most of the money that they make doesn't come from their movies. It comes from endorsements and adds and the biggest money comes from the adds in international markets. A major, major Hollywood star that would never do that at home in US is making a loads of money doing it in Japan, were he is a God). So there is a way to make living and not compromise your career...you need a capable manager to make it happened though. There are things... but i will not get into it here.
So what is the point I want to make...
I want to separate the facts so we can have a better understanding of a situation, our feelings and most of all what we stand for--a support with actual results!
Why I have decided to write this...
Some have pointed out that Sid and/or Prats don't have a clue of our work and influence (and we are quite capable), and that frankly they may not want it. So then, (since this is a public forum) maybe they or someone they know will come a cross it and let them know. If they want it, support that is lot more than sending you are so beautiful/handsome notes, all they have to do is say a word. Personally, i just don't want to stop the wheels on our little lean, mean fighting machine... not just yet... and I wanted you to know that! 😃
We will know when that time comes... 😉
