After two years of people telling me to watch it I got there eventually...

I started watching Scandal it was pretty terrible - I don't know what people like about it - all the characters are really annoying - Quinn, Olivia, Cyrus, The President... I don't know it could have been really good but the characters are just so annoying!

Punar Vivah 2 in trouble - Aankh Micholi to replace it?

The much hyped show Punar Vivah 2 on Zee TV seems to be in trouble and it is speculated that Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi will replace it!

Whenever we see a new promo our minds go ticking as to which show will be shown the door next? Even as fans of each and every show want their favorite shows to be long lasting it doesn't stand true in the Indian Television industry. Change is the only constant here, so gear up for some buzzing news.

Touted as a modern love story with a difference, Shashi Sumeet Productions, Punar Vivaah Ek Nayi Umeed on Zee TV never managed to gain the much needed numbers. While it opened with an encouraging TRP of 1.8 even beating Sony TV's Bade Acche Lagte Hain which airs at the same time slot, it later started dipping with dropping to a dismal 0.9 in some weeks. While the TRPs have slightly picked up recently, apparently the channel is disappointed with the show's performance and is all set to bring in a new show.

The show which started as the story of two lovers (Karan V Grover and Rubina Dilaik) who get back together after a long time and still have feelings for each other the story got a twist when suddenly Rubina decided to quit the show mid-way. Apparently, Rubina was not happy with how her character was developing. This did not go well with fans of Rubina and the show and the show took a further dip in popularity.

Inside sources reveal that talks are on about Punar Vivah getting replaced by a new show, Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi which is supposed to go on air soon. "Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi is produced by Esselvision, which is Essel Group's in-house production arm. They have just shot the promo with couple of actors and the shoot of the rest of the episodes has still not started. It was slated to go on-air from the 9th of September but it seems that the launch has been delayed."

Telling us more about the show our source says, "The story of the show revolves around a girl Ami (Ulka Gupta) who is shown to be a teenager who is far from perfect whether it is in studies, sports or dramatics. It is only her father who understands her but after his death she feels lost as no one appreciates her for what she is."

Gautami Kapoor will be seen as Ami's mother and a widow who will try to be Ami's support after Ami's father passes away. With the soft touch of children and parenting to the story it is sure to gather appreciation if treated with tender loving care.

However, while it is said that Punar Vivah is the next to be axed what with no replacement for Rubina's character as yet there still remains a confusion. We ask our source as to which show will Khelti Hain Zindagi Aankh Micholi replace? "Most probably it will replace Punar Vivah as the show has not picked up. It is not doing well whether it is the ratings or popularity! However, you never know, even Jodha Akbar is doing poor in the ratings department and also the content drew protests from various sections of the society. Whether it is the research, the acting or the presentation, Jodha Akbar is being criticized for it so it just might be possible that Jodha Akbar might discontinue!" concludes our source.
