There is no game plan for the channel and the PH Ash. It is a business decision. The channel and PH tried to ride Sanaya's popularity. Now they see that the show didn't take off. So they are cutting losses by not changing the ML. Simple as that.

I really do not get the need for the rushed romance; plus they are using such romantic numbers as the background and the jodi looks a total mis-fit.
I guess even Sanaya would probably not be too thrilled about this forced romance especially since she explicitly mentioned in a couple of interviews that she too is waiting for the Ya-Ya scenes to start.

They could have started off with an arranged marriage for all that we care. Just show that MIL changes after marriage. Why the rushed romance? I don't think the ML would be replaced at all

Daastan to me is one of the better shows soapland has to offer- intriguing, well cast and directed. Of course the heavy dose of drama is not for my everyday watching so I catch an episode once in one or two weeks. Question, do Shyama and Akhil have kids?
