I think someone needs to tell the PH and SI and HH, that the reason HH and the SaHold jodi are not being liked is NOT becoz people are comparing him to Barun. Yes, for some viewers it may come naturally, and initially maybe we all did a little. But as the story unfolded, we are nowhere comparing him. It is the misconception of hard core SI fans due to their prejudice against Barun/Sarun fans, which has probably gotten communicated in some way to that team.

Sorry but wanting to be fair, I never compared HH to Barun. This is a relatively new actor, he is a model, and the role is nothing out of ordinary. I was just comparing him with the other heroes on tv currently, and he falls way short. If he would have done a decent job and fitted the role, most people would have been able to ignore him on screen and focus on the show's heroes...YaYa. But he is an eye sore. He is bad and it is turning people off. And it is not becoz he is being compared to Barun. We are just comparing him to decent tv actors in general.

Just read SI part of interview posted..I agree with pollyjee here..I take it as compliment to her prev-co star and nothin else...she has always been very frank and straight forward with her replies.. thus i find no difference here too...

i am still wondering about male lead selection. whether they chose a new comer becoz they cudnt rope in any established actors ? that was evident when so many names cropped up for the male lead.

when it is not a love story as stated by the female lead herself and not focusing on the male lead why the blame is being put on his acting? in otherwords the story is of chanchan and whether failure or success, it is all hers not any body else'

not every actors will have the guts to accept their failures. still long way to go to be mature enough to accept and grow.

I think he has improved too...If the story had an inch of depth in it... it cud hav helped him a lot...when script is not backin the actor... it is difficult for him to make a mark...plus i feel they are puttin too much pressure on him so soon... story is more focussed on YaYa so i feel he can still manage being in the show,..if his costars accepts him...

This is what I keep trying to voice. After seeing SI in CC, a part of me is scared. And I cannot put it in words here. I have already tried explaining it elsewhere. And the acting thing is just part of it. I am just scared to see the turn of events too. I am keeping my fingers, legs, everything crossed!

Yes. For the past few weeks I have been in awe of karma uncle. I dont want any of our virtual arrogance to affect any real person.

So Pollyji from now on these things are going to mean nothing for me. We have a long way to go before we can find fault at peoples actions and their choices.

I just saw d dubay play...barun was ok...not superlative perfomance...
As d narrator,he did a decent job.
But i didnt see a nervous,fumbling sobti...as d live audience said...he ws cool as usual..
And i saw some asr jhalak too...
⭐️ barun's innate shyness ws dere...
Akshay,d true xtrovert ws d sstar f d show...but barun's "hi ppl how are u " was... 🤗 and akshay barun combo ws purrfct...:)

Ritu no one is offened by those lines, all are saying about how he kept down HH and telling he is the sole reason for failure indirectly.

Yes riti...she was asked abt barun and ipk and she didnt go that overboard with her answer too. She just complimented him. May be she should have just said a little more abt FK...then this mention about Barun might not look amplified. Thats just my POV.
