Which seems to be what they want to wrap up. I think they might take the IPL timeframe to go through it all for anyone who is watching. I bet soon after IPL will be the wedding to pull everyone back to the show (it is a big TRP pull from what I hear) and then the real story will start.

Sanaya really did not want to do the rona dhona of daily soaps and for her sake I hope things work.

But the problem is after the IPL is done there will be a lot of revamping done on all the channels and you have new stuff coming on the channels. Serials in India have to primarily catch the audience's attention within the first 1-2 months after that it is only the die hard fans who give the TRPs as the ones who were not hooked on move to other stuff. And looking at the way Chanchan is going looks like the marriage would be done after IPL is over and we have the saas-bahu conflict out after IPL. Doesn't seem to be a good idea as Sanaya's fans and Sony's viewers are basically urban audience and I doubt how many would be interested in Bahu - Saas takkar day in/day out. The more and more I think of it, I feel the PH should have thought out little more about the premise of the show and what is that they are aiming to present to the audience. It looks like the creatives have taken 2 strong characters and built a story around them and not the other way around - meaning work on the story and then get the characters in, which should have been the way they should have gone. For Sanaya's sake I wanted this show to get good TRPs so let's see how it fares at the TRP meter.

Thanks Ash and Hain for the reviews. Looks like both can be avoided. I haven't watched SC is 3 weeks now; CC despite the reviews i watched yesterday because i really wanted to give it a fair chance but i think that's it for now unless there is a drastic improvement and the script and dialogues!
But man oh man has ZGH captured my interest. Unlike Sama and Pri i haven't managed to do a marathon run coz of a killer busy AD but i hopefully will be curent by the weekend. I am loving Zaroon; both the character and actor; Sobti come back soon; you've got competition😉

@meena :- I have given up on SC within the first week itself. Emotional angst and attayachar is so not my cup of tea - haven't even ventured back at all in SC-land. With Chanchan probably will give it some more time and once the saas-bahu conflict is out in open, then it would be bye-bye for me. Sorry Sanaya alone can't drag me to the show. I am waiting for 24 to air on Colors - which seems to be in August and I would be free in AD around that time. So maybe I will jump on 24 when it airs and till then it would be just time pass only.

Hmm, so seems like Sanjayji is going to be true to the novel - page by page translation it would be then. Actually in the movie too something(a fight I remember) happens between Saras and Kumud which makes Saras break the rishta and go away and Kumud will get married to another person. So Ash be ready for the emotional attyachar. yeh toh kabhi bhi toot sakti hain.

Hi everyone!

^ Haven't seen the thread.. but did it get ugly because of the rumor mongers? I remember when an article was posted a month or so ago and Sobti talked about his wife/married life and whatnot... and there was a war going on in that thread with one side saying its a fake article/picture and whatnot.
