Sorry have been MIA for the last couple of days and will continue to be so for the next few days Combination of new project at work/ cousin( nope not Chennai one but a male) wedding and hosting some of the extended family who have come for the function

So find myself too tired and busy to come here

Catering to pernickety senior citizens who like old school food and will not compromise on anything not home made is kind of taxing and their culinary standards are pretty exacting so find myself on the constant receiving end of how this modern young generation of women don't know how to cook which is purely grouchiness and hogwash on their part as I do pride myself on being an excellent cook so just listen in one ear and let it out the other and affirm to myself serenity first insanity later if not senility and know this too shall pass They all will be leaving by the weekend so phew will celebrate with some Armagnac shots then

Flip side my insomnia seems to have vanished as I am too exhausted and can barely keep my eyes open end of the day so yay some good has come out of all this

So will catch you all over the weekend here and the new hunting ground
