actually the problem for him is not about the divorcee but his problem is what the society thinks about his family. He feels if a divorcee turns up as his daughter-in-law...its an insult to his family name. Initially it was shown how people were insulting a divorcee girl.

He says clearly.. for me more than my life, my prestige & family name are important. I will not let it go until my last breath.
