am a bit spaced out these days. retinue of not happy news. need to get deeper and deeper into what matters i guess. nothing like beauty, imagination, to completely defeat death and destruction. guess that's why ipk started mattering so much. right now, scout and atticus and calpurnia of mocking bird keep my mind believing there's something to this existence after all. oh the writing, a whole character sketched sometimes in just one sentence. hmmm. that's it, i guess. the brevity of gestures and words with which mr sobti made asr, maybe that struck somewhere sinking deep. almost like a master artist and her/his astute strokes.
will art and imagination ever get the respect it deserves in our world. and by that i don't mean esoteric stuff that mints money for some, i mean can't we ever see a van gogh without talking about the millions it sold for? the poor man who painted those sunflowers or that starry starry nights picture, never made the dosh. i'd love to gaze upon his swirly stars free of all extra enfo. just the fiery swirls.
i ramble. but you'll be kind and understand. 😳
