What is the whole hullaboo of Arnav dying - Khushi moving on which led the fans to go on rampage. Couldn't they have taken the route of Arnav going into coma and Khushi struggling to keep AR float and tackling AR's enemy. Why the whole funda of pulling off the show and throwing the actor under the bus to save themselves. Naitik was out in YRK for about a month now and the serial is going on and Naitik most probably would been seen on limited basis for another month or so given that he is doing NB.

So priya, what is the reason the PH couldn't hold on to the actor. Give us the inside info and I really for once want to understand what the hell happened.

from when did in showbiz actors are accountable for their interviews - as far as I know that those are politician ka jon ???

and the most imp thing -- no actor ever gives correct interview -- not even an SRK or Salman -- jo jitna bolta hai to print media is handled by the Agents !!!

I have no problem with Barun quitting/or rather taking a break from the show. He figured out he was tired and wanted to go to rejuvenate himself. So far so good. What I am really angry about is the lack of clarification from the PH, lack of interest for developing the story such that the actor could have been eased out and in the end no press conference from the PH when they pulled off the show.

I for one can't believe that the creative team couldn't have thought of a decent storyline to facilitate Arnav leaving. They could have focused on the past, give romance, take the story to the next high point when Arnav-Khushi are dead and a leap happens. All the serials do it. Why couldn't the creatives have taken that route then. The people who have watched AK story would have had their closure and Sanaya could very well play the daughter of Arnav-Khushi. Forget that if the creatives sorry read that as PH and Channel wanted only Barun to be Arnav then they could have put Arnav in coma and the story could have gone around how Khushi handles the big bad world. So many scenarios they could have thought and they could have handled this leave/break/quit of Barun without spoiling the Arnav-Khushi story. Why the hell did the PH try to make mockery of everything and giving out articles that Khushi will move on with new person in her life. That my dear Gul, is a fatal mistake. You don't murder the essence of the show to spite the fandom.

I would hold the channel and the PH equally responsible for creating the situation so bad that the outrage was unprecedented. None of them came forward to clear the viewers questions. Both of them have acted in a very childish manner and threw entire blame on Barun and tried to wash off the show. I for one do not believe the constant jap of the PH that -'we are holier than thou and we sacrificed everything even our money earning serial so that we can get in Barun's request and we swear on anybody you point to'. That is utter bullshit.

However at the same time I do hold Barun a little guilty may be around 10% for the entire fiasco and the serial closing down. If Barun was forced out due to Gul and creative differences, then Barun should have come out and said so. No need to behave like a martyr and take the blame on himself and trying to support the PH and the channel. And if Barun does have movies he should have told that in the beginning itself saying he is taking a break but does have a movie on hand. Now after this interview everyone is pointing fingers to him. Barun needs to learn PR skills and that too asap. Other than that I am happy that he at least didn't sugarcoat things in the interview this time which he did in the Koffee with Gul. He was hurt and he rightly pointed it out but still this was not the time nor place to announce his second movie. But khair I hope he learned some lesson in PR skills due to this whole funda.
