n your explanation of it won my heart.. i totally agree with you buddy.. but the most interesting thing about the FF is that its ''ESSENCE'' varies according to every reader's perception. for me the ''essence'' lies in the ''prologue'' itself--the point ''A'' of the story.. all that started there lead to chain of reactions n events.. we see the characters ''evolve'' by the passage of time n become what they are today n we see how certain things will still help/contribute in the evolution, n along with the story will unfold all those events n circumstances that will lead to climax of the story,where once again we'll see them all facing what they left far behind..--the point ''B'' of the story.. logically, there shud be some impact on everyone from there onwards..we should see how each person reacts to all that..some will accept quietly,some retaliate,some even fight back.. finally reaching to the end of the story--point ''C''.
in between all that, the author will have to make use of each character in the tale..spin situations n events to move it ahead..then there will be times when she'll have to even explain why a certain thing/person acted in such a way.. all that will lead to more chps n will also make the story ''SEEM'' like slow paced or even 'dragged.. but like she said, it is all IMPORTANT to build the ''momentum''.
n yes there are times when like you even i look back n realize n think how far we have come n how far we have to go... see only a person who sees things in above mentioned context could have thought it like that,so atleast am with you in it n we aren't wrong either,coz we think a little too much.😆😆😆
yes linny, atleast i feel thesedays that your on n off absence from the inn has left the story a little too slow.! BUT every chapter is extremely important for the tale.. coz like the whole tale has its ''essence'',every chp unveils a part of that ''essence''.. so even am NOT bored. but the frequent absences have made it slow paced.. but am not complaining linny..just trying to make a point here..
when i read your comment to leena's, i felt i saw a little worry in it... why would you worry?? i wrote this whole story just to let you know linny that when you write in public,you naturally come across all kind of reactions..some will be happy,some understand,some get infuriated n some even leave.. i know you care about all.. but NEVER EVER LOSE YOURSELF amidst it all.!!!
every wise person will always understand that you too must have your own set of challenges in life to fight n sometimes,there's nothing you can do to compromise on something dear..coz well,we have to make choices always n sometimes a certain thing will need to be prioritized over another..its natural.. last time you put a disclaimer about a storm,linny. i'll say again never be scared of them my sweet friend,they come only to make you stronger n wiser.. you should always try to be you..coz those who come to inn are those who see you as you n they do understand you in their own way... sometimes they say something they understood in a diff context,doesn't mean you'll get worried for it. see leena has a point here..for every person the ''essence'' will be different..some will find it in Arshi ,some payaash,some in curse n some in past.. no matter what you really intend.. so moral of the lecture?? YOU CAN'T MAKE EVERYONE HAPPY! CHAK DE PHADEY!!😉
now soul will be holding her head at this huge lecture of mine,thinking ''WHAT THE.??'' n well,soul, waisey hi mood ho raha tha lecture ka..🤣.. i could actually understand these both n they both aren't wrong.. leena understands the story really well n linny cares too much about things.
