I understand in parts of South India, cousins marrying, uncles marrying nieces etc probably still happens.

But in most cases it is with the agreement of the family.
If we are talking about incest due to force, I wont call that incest but rape. Period. Marryin a cousin is incest to me. Maybe not in its absolute negative connotation, but that is something I can never imagine doing and hence is a taboo for me and hence I dont understand it. But, it is done.
Incest via force is not incest but rape. Incest because both are adults and chose to do so, is still a no no for me, but that is a different topic.
Sorry for being all over the place on this one.

I agree Sudha! In our culture we never marry anyone who's related to us not matter the distance in relationship.

that is the main prob..loads of things happen but they are always hushed up in the name of protecting the reputation of the girl and the family...but then again thinking from another side we still live in a society where a raped victim face more social stigma than the rapist himself ,,so ppl get caught up in the viscious circle of what to do..and most of the time just come up with the solution of keeping quiet

But the prob is this keeping quite attitude indulge the culprits and then they resort to doing more such crimes as they know no one will complain...

This needs to be broken...I have seen in Kolkata nowadays people are protesting a lot...but we need more social awareness and people to understand that someone who commits a crime and someone who a crime is equally guilty

Agreed. Thing is people never understand that it takes a lot of courage for a rape victim to admit that she was raped. There are a lot of things that need to change in society, but on the other hand people are scared too. I mean remember the incident where a guy tried to protect his friend who was being eve-teased and he was shot in a public place.

We can do our bit for the society, that's all we can do.

Pitch is lifeless, doesnt support bowlers much but still they managed to get all the top order easily.
We were already 4 down at 214, I think.
Only Gambhir managed to score 60.
Let' see what happens.

we just suck bad.. we have to admit that. We have a spineless captain, our bowlers are more useless. I see us losing the match unless some miracle happens. We will be losing test series at home after 7 years... first time to England in 20 odd years 😡

I honestly do feel that nbt is a much much much better show than ipk because it has a good story, with very well etched characters each with different layers, there are so many different relationships and the dynamics within are so well portrayed, then there is the acting which is one of the best ever.

hey sorry 2 jump in dear...i watched tat show...i liked mohan n megha dynamics...it was a mature lovestory...i like the song 2...it is still on my mp3...im waiting 4 season 2...i liked mohans liner HEY sunna...
