Star Plus' latest offering, Mujhse Kuchh Kehti...Yeh Khamoshiyaan, produced by Thought Train Entertainment and Trilogy Krikos has been the talk of the town over the last few weeks, courtesy the unique promotional campaign wherein several hoardings about Gauri Bhonsle going missing were put up all around Mumbai. While all the important characters of the show were introduced to the audience in the very first episode, there was one very prominent character and actor who was kept under wraps by the channel for the first two weeks.

Well, the character was that of the lead protagonist Gauri Bhonsle's (Mrunal Thakur) mother, which is essayed by seasoned actress Mrinal Kulkarni. We hear that when the channel planned the first media meet for the show, they saw to it that the name of Mrinal Kulkarni was never brought out to the media. Neither was Mrinal part of the press meet. This was because the channel did not want the major plot of the show (that of Gauri Bhonsle being the daughter of Prateeksha, played by Mrinal Kulkarni) to get opened before the suspense got revealed on screen.

But now, with the plot opening up and Mrinal Kulkarni's face being revealed, posters of both the Mrunals, i.e. of the mother and daughter, (Mrunal Thakkar and Mrinal Kulkarni) will hit soon. Thus begins the journey of the daughter Gauri in salvaging the pride and honour of her mother Pratkeesha.

Three cheers, Khamoshiyaan unit for guarding your trump card so well...
