History doesn't always repeat itself.

You want a solution for this? I'll give you.

Have kids at a young age. Before you are 30. That way there is not much age difference. When there is less age difference, there will be less clashes. And I doubt it would be the same with you and your kids. It happened with you and your mom because you mom had lived half of her life in an Indian city, whereas you lived abroad the whole time. But that won't be a problem with your kids and you.

Oh I am definitely learning alot, but its sad I dont have a mother daughter relationship. blah no kids dude.
