In the beginning to the movie, animation is used. The director might be trying to compare two abstract concepts, One that is animated and the other one that shows the reality. Camera shots are used as techniques in Juno. When she was walking in the School corridor, she had to find her way through the crowd but later on when her pregnancy was obvious, the crowd slowly moved out of her way, giving her weird looks to show she is an outsider. A close-up shot is used on the hands scratching, to show how upset, sensitive and nervous Juno was when she entered the abortion clinic. Soft, happy, cheery music is used at Vanessa's house, suggesting a "yappy household" to show that Vanessa's household is meticulously cared for and the couple is wealthy, and well-educated. When Juno and her dad are in the car on the way to Vanessa's, the music is similar to the "Vanessa's music" but it's faster and has bouncy guitar music just like the way Juno and Bleaker play the guitar. The setting is mostly at Juno's house and the couple's. Bleaker's house and the School was also part of the setting. (erm, donno the effect of this, if there is any.😆)Sound effects have been used in the movie, for example the opening and closing of the doors to make it sound more realistic.
