@ Debo... i knw abt valour of Maa Durga...i rem, as a child i used to visit pandals and just stand, admiring the huge idol infront of me...

Vaise, lucky me, have spent 22 years of my life celebrating Durga Puja in Cal... :)

i hate it how TVD potrays mothers to be selfish and all, abby left bonnie after her powers left her because, she wanted to explore life normally which she cudn't do before as a witch? And when it comes to magic I prefer HP one anyday. No offense, but the avada kedavra would kill the entire vampire clan in two mins. Maybe well. 😆

What my friend told me was that perhaps they came from Klaus, but somehow Elijah turns Elena so both of them can stay till the end. I mean after Ric's death I'll swear to God they MUSN'T KILL Elijah. 😳 When I saw that episode I was like I'm sure it's Elijah, but now am having doubts. 😕

I love Kol too. He's so hot and funny. He and Damon would be like good friends if they tried and didn't fight each other all the time. 🤣

I want traits of Durga in the heroine of the story I'm going to write, so I've been researching and researching. Might go off to Anna Centenary library to get more research done. 😃

you are lucky indeed. i haven't spent any of my puja holidays in Kolkata, thanks to the cosmopolitan nature of big cities its celebrated almost everywhere. i have fun in mumbai too, people from kolkata come her e to perform jatras and bands come her to perform as well, but i know its not the same not even near.

although i heard about it from my mother and grandmother about pujas in kolkata, and how almost a month the city would be having holidays, right from collecting the chanda to the visarjan, everything is an event. sometimes i see in tv only yaha pe the amazing and innovative pandals they make. sigh, the city is so rich in customs, culture and traditions, the politicians are ruining the city big time

the specialty of it is that you will understand it irrespective of the language, because it mainly a dance, and everything is on expressions, and its more of sanskrit than bengali.

Aah I'll definitely give it a shot this year then. 😃 I asked my dad to take me there, two reasons 1) Durga Puja 2) Debzi. He is like we'll try. I also want to go to Shimla, sooo. 😆

Divz Di, lemme get back to Chennai. Tomorrow evening I leave, then no roaming shoaming probs. And I saved up on balance so when dad re-fills I'll have like 400 rs and we all can talk for ages. Iss week pe we'll fix a date? 😃
