LMAO Kavs at that "Bazinga" video! 🤣 This Sheldon character is def. something! I remember watching that episode with Sheldon waking up and going "I want a cookie". LOL But I haven't seen any of those other "bazinga" episodes. LOL That one where he's stuck in that bouncy ball filled toy shack or whatever that is toh is just 🤣
ROFL that is one of his best Bazingas ever- can you guess why he was there? Apparently, he was unable to understand why electrons did not behave like particles while passing through a grapheme sheet. That is supposedly important for his research work and being the self proclaimed immeasurable GENIUS that he is, he goes and drives everyone around nuts while trying to figure that out- damn, he is crazy 🤣🤣🤣. Oh wait, he isn't , like he always says his "mother had him tested" 🤣🤣🤣 You should SO watch TBBT dude 😆.Ok now I FINALLY get your username! YAY! *feels included* :P :D
LOL chalo good for you 😆Oh and Kavs yaar, why haven't we had this dance wali discussion before! 🤗 🤗 Aww it's a touchy subject for you? And I made you write an essay, muahaha! *pleased with herself muh*...I should say BAZINGA! LOL
Aww, I don't know- fate I guess but I am glad we had this discussion FINALLY- better late than never 🤗🤗🤗But yaar, your dance teacher sounds cool. I'd be jealous too if I had a super graceful dancer friend. lol Oh and I can totally picture you as a "bindass dancer" 😎 LMAO! Yeah totally know what you mean by classical dancing requiring more discipline with the right postures, moods, mudras and everything. It is a science in that way, even though it's an art. Takes great practice and dedication for sure. So if you don't have a great teacher, and you don't have a genuine gift/interest in it, I think it is pretty hard to build that interest in kids especially. And especially, going with your point, that Western dance forms ARE more hyped. Totally. Even in the media/TV etc...kids are more fascinated by hip-hop styles and stunts and all. Classical dances require more maturity waisse bhi to appreciate. Like you said, you also got bored initially...lol.
I honestly think it is possible to build interest in it , not just in kids but also in adults provided people are ready to BELIEVE in it first, then invest some time to develop marketing techniques to take it to the masses. Teaching a kid classical dance and putting some effort to get them interested in it is WAY BETTER than letting him/her "groove" to a sense-less Kolaveri di, don't you think? It depends on the parents also in a way- they can inculcate an interest in our culture and our heritage from a young age in the kids, instead of letting them while away all their free time on Cartoon Network/MTV (not that I am against kids watching CN) but there should be a BALANCE, one thing should not be completely ignored for another thing.Yeah I did have a not-so-great first dance teacher which was a bummer, but afterwards we also got to learning Kathak in school and doing plays and all so I enjoyed that. 😆 But soon after, we moved here, when I was in 6th grade so I never got to finish learning it. Uske baad toh I've mostly just been "bindass dancing" like you. :P lol I love this term btw Kavs, I'm totally chorying it.
LOL "bindaas dancing" or "bindaas body language" is HARDLY an original term for you to chory it, by all means you can do it 😆. And YAY to us BOTH being "bindaas dancing" types 😎And thanks for posting that Kamal Hassan vid. Aww he's a fantastic dancer indeed! 😍 Such a talented artist he is.
SIGH I know - KH and his master class...😍
That movie/story seems interesting too. I LOL-ed at the bit where KH goes, "Aur yeh Kathak hai", with that confidence and attitude. lol And even that slap to that random dude! 🤣 And afterwards, as he's leaving, that security guard goes all, "Namaste sir"! Bichara doesn't want to get slapped too! 😆 LOL Aww. I enjoyed watching that. :)
The security guard does that out of respect than fear 😆. And yes, the movie is interesting and totally dance based- you should watch it if you get a version in subtitles.
Thanks for posting those, Kavya...and wow@ the description of the scene conceived by that director...that's amazing👏
