Ya think they would have time to think about that when there's more important stuff to take care of, such as more LOWE scenes.

eh...don't forget this show is from the same PH as CMG, the doctors-based show in which they showed doctors engaging in trip-catch-eyelock sessions during shift and doing God knows what with colorful liquids in the hospital's so called LAB😳.
I bet they'll show her cured of condition when the time comes. 😆

Speaking of YRF shows, why didn't they come up with any this Spring?

@Anu WORD on expecting a bound script in Indian TV being a fallacy but sometimes I think that may be when these soap makers start off with a show initially, they have a bound script at least for the first few months?! As in they would have penned a good amount of episodes much before the show begins and stick to them?! LOL, obviously you are not defending that Geet director, I didn't think that way Anu, I just wanted to put forth our defense about why we are really wary, I especially have this tendency to get too cynical at times because I have been scarred way too many times when I felt attached to a show. And yes, NBT has had its share of flaws from the beginning itself but the character interactions and most importantly the CAST always rose above the writing even when the show was not going through the best of phases (not to take the credit away from the writing department either, they have established their potential many a time). And overall also, NBT was rarely inconsistent, story-wise, it always had a sense of direction and was never all over the place and most often it is the execution or the screenplay that disappointed us. As for M-M's upcoming "romantic" scenes, like I said earlier, I can ignore the execution, because the premise has been credibly established over time.

@Amy: I think Sony totally changed its programming strategy and YRF didn't line up with that anymore...Sony got a boost with its crime shows and with BALH so it's focusing more on getting regular soaps now.

@Kavya: Yeah I do understand what you're saying...personally I was just taking a step back and kinda reflecting over this week so these thoughts came to me...that there wasn't anything too horrible that happened either...some things were dragged, there were some filler 'sun naa' type things going on...which shows that IPL ki wajah se they are showing filler scenes...but yeah ultimately toh story move kar hi rahi hai...we haven't yet seen the fallout so we can't reach a conclusion about it.

Chalo we will know tomorrow where this is going I guess.

Anu, I see where you are coming from. After it sank in, I too felt that may be I was over-reacting about what's to come when I thought about it for a bit (or may be Friday's episode helped LOL) but the initial shock was definitely too much! Hopefully, tomorrow's episode will be decent, if not best!

@Yrf shows-- oh ok.
Aaah someone really needs to pioneer a network with solid weekly shows of different genres on desi tv. I mean it's very much doable because a lot of Indians do watch American shows and are well aware of that format and such. Besides, if you don't try it, how are you going to get any reaction out of it. When it comes to weekly shows, there's more time they could give to writing and such stuff instead of being under the time constraints and pressure with daily routine. The actors also don't get as exhausted as they do with dailies and everyone gets a break from the show including the viewers.

Friday's epi did help...lol...but yeah honestly after the initial shock, once you calm down and think about it doesn't seem as bad as our first reaction was...it's not like sab kuch KHATAM ho gaya types...

When I think of the kind of epis I've bardaashtofied of KTLK, uske comparison mein toh kuch bhi nahin hua yahaan abhi😆

@Amy I completely agree with you on the format change being the need of the hour. There was one TB article on I-F recently, about the format change of the soaps from dailies to seasonal concept, I posted my view there but it got buried somewhere. Barun and Kunal's opinions were taken on the format change in the article, since Barun was tagged in it, his fan girls just poured in and started singing his praises instead of commenting on the actual content of the article, it totally put me off !

I'm really very impressed by Akanksha's choice of role for her debut show. I mean she's merely 21 and could have taken up any of those so called "youth shows" but she took this show where she is playing the role of a widow and most of all a mother of two kids...and one of them is a 8 year old daughter. She is so convincing in this role, isn't she? She might not "look" her character's age as much but her demeanor fits her character's age perfectly...the character that is mature and dignified while at the same time naive and spunky like a kid in some moments.

I have yet to see Raghav's finale parts. I'm still in the process of loading it😆. I think I'm only going to watch raghav parts from the finale and pradeep.

@Raghav's act in the press conference--- Wasn't it? I enjoyed every bit of his act. I think it'll be interesting to watch him in the "skipper" role and especially his bonding with kids. I'm pretty sure he'll be their total buddy😆.

@Kavya--- yeah i saw that article too. I thought about commenting but then I saw BS phangurls filling up the space with random DROOL comments and got put off. I liked Kunal's answer though.
