Appreciation Post for Ruheen
With an array of films being made on real life heroes such as Paan Singh Tomar and Milkha Singh, next in line is a project based on the life of the legendary Indian hockey player, Dhyan Chand.
And who other than King Khan - after his commercially and critically successful stint in Chak De India – would be looked up to for portraying the character? Shahrukh Khan is indeed the top preference for this coveted role, after his inspiring enactment of the women's team hockey coach previously.
If things go as planned, Khan will have the honour of portraying onscreen, the Golden Man who defines the glory of Indian Hockey, in this yet untitled project.
Will this trend of playing a celebrated real life hero turn tables for SRK's career once again?!
Temple used in EVERY soap...but apart from this there's another white fancier looking temple I've seen a lot of shows using...saw it used in LTL and most recently in CT-Jalebi show as well.
Anyways, so next week is finale? How is it finale when there's 5 contestants still left in the competition?

I think SRK is finally snapping out of his middle aged desperate times. :P Dare I hope for that? Now this movie sounds like a much better choice than RaOne types and all for sure. And his potential project with Kajol too sounds promising. 👍🏼
I really liked that speech you posted Anu. It's so nice to see a SRK away from the usual awards lame-giri and all. I haven't seen him talk this philosophically in so long it seems. That's what I admire about his personality..his wisdom and the experience to think bigger. I saw that humility and honesty in this speech of SRK's. And his words were quite inspiring. I liked how he kept it real too. Yeah the usual lame jokes toh the, but still. I think those are a part of who he is too. lol I don't think he was putting it on. Even him talking about his kids and all was sweet. And I loved what he said about parents being this unconditional love support system. And it was extremely touching to hear him talking about missing that unconditional love in the form of his parents. And even what he says about success vs. failure. And failure being the means of providing you with wisdom. The wisdom to discover yourself, while success can take you away from that. Distance you from discovering your real self. Ahh I love it when he's all philosophical like that. He's a thinker.
