Farida Jalal aka Badi Jiji (Surekha Sikri's elder sister) will return to Colors' " Balika Vadhu" next week.
Badi Jiji is suffering from cancer and is now fragile and vulnerable. Dadisa and the rest of the family realises that telling her about the current relationship of Jagya and Anandi might prove to be dangerous for her health and thus they want to keep her happy in her last few days. To hide the truth from her, Jagya will return to Jaitsar to play the charade of being married to Anandi against Gauri's wishes. But sometimes make-believe can come true.
Says Farida, "People are waiting to see Jagya and Anandi reunite and I might work as a catalyst for that. It will be an emotional time for my character in the show since she's suffering from cancer which hasn't dampened her spirit. The high point will be when Badi Jiji meets Gauri. I can't divulge anything at this stage, but I am hopeful that viewers will appreciate the track."
