Remarriage, still a tabboo?
Television is rapidly changing to accommodate new
ideas that reflect the changing nature of society these
days. Keeping that in mind, Zee TV came up with a
novel way to promote their new show Punarvivaah,
where they had panelists to debate to discuss the
issue of remarriage. The panel comprised of personalities like Dr Archana Jambusaria and Dr Sayeda
Ruksheda among others, who shared their views on the same.
Sukesh Motwani, Head-Fiction Programming, Zee TV said,"We
have so many questions ' should those who have faced a
debacle in their first attempts at marriage be brave enough to
give life a second chance? We'd like to challenge the double
standards Indians display towards the issue of remarriage '
while men can easily remarry, women who wish to find hapiness again through remarriage are frowned upon by conservative sections of society." Archana opined that it was best to
completely wipe out memories of the first relationship. "One
should walk into the new relationship with no baggage, otherwise you can never do justice to
your new partner'" Giving a different view on the subject,
Sayeda said that the issue of discrimination and prejudice
against a divorced woman also
applies to divorced men. "They
also face questions, she pointed
out, though admitting that
women definitely have it tougher
when it comes to remarriage.
Writer and co-producer of
Punarvivaah, Shashi Mittal said
that the most gratifying moment
since the launch of the show was
when the lead actor's (Kratika)
neighbour in Kanpur called her
to say that after watching the
show, she also felt encouraged
to get her widowed daughter-inlaw remarried! Talk about creating an instant impact!

i saw trailer of Kahani movie and i really like Vidya's acting even better than in dirty picture 😊
her get up also nice she looks cute in simple cloth instead of fancy cloth

Emraan and Vidya are doing one more movie together
i love them in dirty picture
though their scene was very less but it has more impact than others
