Ok I'm going to go catch up on NBT now. See this is so awesome...now that we all have a show to watch together. Otherwise I probably wouldn't have logged in again for another month or so. Probably would've gone to bed like a budhi mai. But I actually look forward to logging into IF now and discussing this show...haha. It's great...*touchwood* *superstitious muh*

Anyways, I also want to see these celebration pictures pleaseee!!!! 😳

Heyy Anu and Fivr! *hugs*

Ok PM me please! *excited muh*

So I just watched Monday's episode. LMAOO Guru is just so hilarious!! I was just watching his reactions while Megha and Mohan were having their little argument! Especially when Megha goes, "And I am the president of India"...LOL Guru's expressions were just hilarious there. Guru and Mohan's mom were just hilarious in general in the background! 😆 And aww when Guru comes to Mohan's defense...and explains that Mohan can't stand any girls crying. LOL And the mummy in the background with her "tu shaadi kab karega" 🤣

I just love the chemistry between Nanhi and Mohan. It's just so natural and comfortable. The way he just addresses her as "tu" as if she's a buddy and not a little kid. These two sometimes make you feel like they could be the same age. I just love how they've behaved like friends from day one. Or as equals I should say. There's no age barrier between them. I think Nanhi's also a little mature for her age since she's been a part of her mother's tragedy and really felt it. And Mohan is just so straightforward...almost like a child you know? What I mean is, that when we're kids we usually don't have any pretenses. We talk and behave with everyone in the same way. But as we get older, I think we start acquiring these "ways of behaviour"...as in how to behave with kids/older people etc...just general ways of behaving in society. But Mohan seems to be too carefree for those kinds of pretenses and social etiquettes. His straightforwardness makes him almost like a kid I think.

I also just find it so endearing that Mohan actually believes Nanhi when she tells him her mother's story and why she needs to print that ad. I mean...any sensible adult would probably just be amused at the kid and that would be the end of it. But Mohan just seems to get Nanhi. It's not just that he helps Nanhi out...out of plain amusement. He actually believes in what she's saying. lol I just find that so amazingly endearing that two people who are just so different...different in age and backgrounds and everything can just get each other like that. I think it kind of shows that Mohan has a little bit of a child in him. He also has this innocence I think. He doesn't make the connection of how serious this mistake is until Megha points it out to him. He just sees it as a good deed. Also, he was the only one that got the innocent good intention behind Nanhi's actions. Everyone else is either busy worrying about the consequences of situation or about Megha's state of mind. But Mohan really is the only one that understands Nanhi's side of it. I think it shows that he is almost as innocent as Nanhi herself...the fact that he can believe and understand her so easily. I hope that made sense. lol

Anyways, I'm really liking how natural these two are with each other.

The only thing I found kind of jarring was the end...where Mohan promises Nanhi that he'll always be around. I found that to be a little on the cheesy side. I like the natural, easygoing camaraderie these two share...but I don't think they have that kind of filmy, larger than life "forever" type bond yet either. :S Especially for a guy like Mohan to say something like that...kind of felt odd to me. :S lol...I guess the point was to show the two "promises" from both Megha and Mohan side by side or whatever...you know, filmy stuff. :P 😆

@bold: Well said...totally agree with these points...Mohan is very direct and straightforward...which I guess could be considered a child-like trait and Nanhi is solemn for her age...but they share that quality of directness and they've bonded over that as well I think...Mohan just GETS her like you said.

Have sent you a PM :-)

Awww...OMG I loved the Mohan-Nanhi scene! Adorable! I'm just amazed at how natural these two are with each other! I love this pair. I love how Mohan talks with Nanhi...like calling her "yaar"...and "sun na..." and stuff. lol And I also love how Mohan gets through to Nanhi like that. He doesn't preach or advice...he just shares his thoughts and opinions. He treats her like an equal...like a friend he can share his thoughts with. As if she's not a little child incapable of understanding his emotions. I just like how he lets her in. And this is someone who doesn't even like kids! lol

I love Mohan's expression after Nanhi says, "Aapko maara". Like he's pleasantly surprised, amused and impressed at the same time. And even the "Mr. Bhatnaagar" bit...how Nanhi catches that. But I liked how there wasn't any awkwardness in that moment between Mohan and Nanhi. Mohan just casually responds, "Woh yaar, phir kabhi bataunga". Their bonding is just so casual, carefree and easygoing.

What I also like is how there's this sensitivity in their interactions. Mohan and Nanhi's scenes are pretty lighthearted and endearing for the most part...but there are hints of sensitivity too. It's like a mix of straightforwardness, innocence, maturity and understanding between these two. Mohan is sensitive to Nanhi's emotions and she too, can sense things like Mohan's relationship with his father. I mean, she can't understand it fully of course, but she is a little sensitive to it. She picks up on things.

And what I love most is how subconsciously these two are bonding. Like the way Mohan does that brushing Nanhi's chin wala gesture. It seemed like the most natural thing for him to do. As if he himself couldn't help be affectionate to this kid. lol He's getting fond of her ever so subconsciously and slowly...it's so endearing. And just the way she repeats that gesture. Awww. SO adorable! And again Mohan gets pleasantly surprised with that. I think he's not used to getting that kind of affection and natural bonding with people. lol He probably scares off most people he interacts with. I love the way Nanhi calls him "spider-man" too. Aww. These two are so cute.

LOL Guru and Mohan are just too hilarious.

"Abe, tu kya gyaan de raha hai be"

🤣 Love how Mohan blames everything on Guru. LOLL If only he hadn't washed that jacket! These two also have a natural bonding and chemistry.

I want to see more scenes with Mohan and Addu too. lol Anyways, looks like Mohan will apologize eventually. But I do like how he doesn't apologize right away. He takes the time to cool down and let it all sink in..realize the extent of the effect his actions had on Megha. I liked that progression from his pride to his guilt and self evaluation and finally coming to the conclusion that he had indeed made a mistake.

Oh and I also like the "jiji" character. I like these simple, poignant dialogues she gets too. Just the way she goes, "Log apno pe hi bharosa kyun nahin karte?" It was just so bang on and effective. She didn't have to scold or give a bhashan or anything. It was just that simple...either you trust each other or you don't.

And I loved the way she comforts Megha too. Just the way she says, "Aur kahin na kahin iss baat ki khushi hai, aur garv hai...ki tu hamare ghar ki bahu hai." Awww... isn't that just the sweetest thing! Who wouldn't want to be told that? Just so heartwarming. Just what Megha needed too after she was having all these guilty thoughts about the family members not trusting her and all. It was just so simple yet poignant. The connection jiji and Megha share is very sweet. She's the only one that seems to understand Megha. :)

Heya Abhi...LOL Anant-Navya are getting married? Yeh toh hona hi tha...given the direction the show took a long time back...I happened to catch an epi while in India where Anant sends some email to Navya asking her if she wants to break off the wedding and focus on her career and then she jhaadoes some sobby speech about how there is nothing in her life if not him...lol

Yep Guru is that Centimetre/Milimetre guy from 3 idiots...no wonder he's so awesome in this show too...lol
