Pioneer publicity takes new-series Nat Geo supercars on a high adrenalin outdoor drive

In bid to promote its new series the Nat Geo's Super cars... National Geographic has rolled out an outdoor campaign. The campaign has been executed by their outdoor partner pioneer publicity in two major cities Mumbai & Delhi. The 10 days long campaign started on Oct 11.


HIGH IMPACT

Indulging the viewers in the temptation of the most coveted cars in the world Nat Geo's supercars is being hosted by popular actor Rajeev Khandelwal. The host will brief the viewers on the technology that goes in the making of the cars & the brains behind V8, & V 12 that inject life into these otherwise lifeless metal beasts.


Premium Campaign

It wud be intresting to see how these cars are made. Especially cars like Lamborghini, & ferrari who have long history of creating timeless classics.


Maximum Exposure
The show is to not just woo the young audience but also those who love cars & are fascinated by the way they work.


Towering Visibility
speaking on the Outdoor campaign Debarpita Banerjee, VP marketing, National Geographic Channel India & Fox International Channels said, Outdoor advertising & marketing initiatives for Nat Geo's Super Cars included a robust outdoor promotion themed around the concept of "Lust". We began with giving Rajeev Khandelwal a makeover which was a look completely different from the kind his fans are accustomed to.



Composite Display
"Rajeev's Lust for these iconic supercars in a new rugged avatar has been splashed on hoardings in key locations acoss Delhi & Mumbai. Besides this, the series is being extensively promoted on the Star TV network & on channels like MTV, AXN, Max & UTV Bindaass. We are also making most of the F1 fever that is gripping the country through a facebook contest for "Nat Geo's supercars" which gives a chance to lucky winners to attend race on Oct 30, she added.

The campaign uses outdoor media like Billboards, unipoles, utilities & bus sheltered in two cities. "Its a burst campaign, spread across the cities to catch the youth. the sites have been selected based on the TG" said Deepak Vasudeva, director Pioneer Publicity.

Nat Geo Super cars is 20 episode series . The show has been supported by Big Boy Toyz.

Break time for Bollywood


While Ajay and family are considering a holiday in Dubai, Rajeev Khandelwal and wifey plan a getaway

Ajay Devgn who has been away from home for almost 40 days for the schedule of " Bol Bachchan" realised how much he missed his family when he was in Jaipur. The moment he landed in Mumbai, he booked flight tickets for the entire Devgn khandaan to fly to Dubai. We hear the star will now return home only in time for Diwali and Lakshmi Puja. After that Ajay will take a month-long holiday till November. He tells us, "I have been shooting continuously at a stretch for more than two years. Now it's time to relax, take a break and send some time with my family."

Rajeev Khandelwal is planning a short vacation with wife Manjari. The actor's last release "Soundtrack" didn't fare well and he wants to 'rejuvenate' before taking on more work. Though the destination is still unknown, it is learnt that he is keen on visiting an exotic island.

The week-long Mumbai Film Festival culminated with an awards function that saw Gulzar bag the honour for lifetime achievement.

While the lyricist and filmmaker was congratulated by a large section of the audience present, including Yash Chopra and Manoj Kumar the audio-visual with Morgan Freeman, who received the corresponding international award, received some mighty cheers. Eesha Koppikhar anchored the function even as Gul Panag presented one of the awards.

Kiran Rao and Sarika were seen bonding while others spotted were Divya Dutta, Vishal Bhardwaj, Sanjay Suri, Rajeev Khandelwal and Onir.

Bournvita Tayyari Jeet Ki Camp

In February, Cadbury India's malt brand Bournvita associated with The Times Of India for a campaign titled 'Tayyari Jeet Ki', which was a pan-India initiative that invited the mothers of India to share their child's preparation stories, which would help them achieve bigger successes in life. The top 50 selected entries would get a chance to rendezvous with celebrity achievers at the Bournvita Tayyari Jeet Ki Camp, and learn to prepare for those bigger successes in life.

As part of this campaign, the Bournvita Tayyari Jeet Ki meet and greet camp was organised at the Hyatt Regency in Andheri, Mumbai on Oct. 19, for children and their parents, so that they could learn about their success stories from the icons in person. The meet and greet camp was also graced by prominent individuals like sports star Leander Paes, film star Rajeev Khandelwal, nutritionist Naina Satelvad, motivational laughter coach Anand Chulani, and former Femina Miss India Natasha Suri.

This campaign was based on the idea that every child has the talent and desire to be an achiever in life, with the biggest differentiator being the amount of preparation put in. The initiative commenced with a series of articles by known achievers like Leander Paes, Abhinav Bindra and Sunidhi Chauhan, among others, who wrote about their journey to success.
