So, you see, you're not the only one who thinks that. She is quite possibly one of the worst role models for teenage girls, I personally think. And you're right, she did use Jacob. She walked all over him and his feelings. I know she loved Edward, but she expected to have them both and didn't seem to see that there was anything in wrong in that. I quite enjoyed the books when I read them, but since I've read other vampire novels I've discovered my enjoyment of them has decreased significantly. There are much better series out there and the heroines are more relatable, at least for me.

I would recommend Richelle's books to anyone. I thoroughly enjoyed the VA books. Rose is a great heroine with lots of spunk and she stands up for what she believes in and fights for what is right. I like her two love interests too, they are both total opposites and that is why the love triangle worked. And it's about so much more than that too. It's about friendship and growing up too.
