Shilpa Anand's love for travel roots back to her childhood days when she globe-trotted with her parents. "I had relatives across the globe. So, whenever I got a holiday in school, we used to go on a vacation abroad." Anand continues the tradition whenever she gets a break. "But I am a moody traveller. When I was in the mood for adventure I travelled to Koh Samui, Thailand and tried my hand at snorkelling and at New Zealand I went bungee-jumping. But when I wanted to head on a quite vacation I travelled to Austria. The place is known for its forts and castles."

Mall-hopping in USA: "When I have to shop, I head to the United States of America. It's expensive to live in USA, but if you have some relative staying there, that expenditure is taken care of. Here's a city that has embraced modern culture and fashion. I love to shop at USA as I have always got awesome bargains and discounts," she says.

London calling: Second on Anand's list is London.

"There's never a bad time to visit London. I love to shop for designer wear, leather boots and formal clothes in London. The place has its own charm. It's been a while since I visited London, but I still remember shopping at Oxford Street for boots and coats, even though I was certain that I would not be able to wear them back in Mumbai," says the actor.

The city of fashion: The big draw for Milan is its fashion scene. Fashion lovers flock to Miu Miu and Marni. "For the ladies, Milan is the place to be at. Come September and most people head to the city as the fashion week begins there. Italy is one of the world's capitals of fashion and if you haven't already had the opportunity to explore this northern Italian city, you should go there," quips Anand.

Mumbai diaries: "It's great to shop at Mumbai as the city has so many malls. Earlier it was rare to spot outlets of international brands in the city. But now we have Zara, ALDO, Mango, FCUK and many other international brands. Be it street-shopping or visiting malls for the high-end brands, the city has it all. I prefer shopping at malls as I want to enjoy the experience," says the actor.

Bangkok break:"Long known for its shopping, Bangkok is a must for every shopaholic. I often shop at Fiam centre when I am at Bangkok," she says.

As soon as Anand wraps up the shooting for Alert 24/7, the actor plans to head to the beaches of Maimi. "My sister lives there and she has been raving about the place. So I decided to head to Maimi for my next break," she says.
