No, I haven't seen the trailer for Alcatraz...Parminder Nagra? Really? Sounds like it could be interesting...the thing about JJ Abrams is that his concepts are always great...sometimes he fails to deliver on execution though - he sets up these big mysteries and mythologies...and the pay-off can often disappoint. But then again, I liked what little I saw of Alias, I do like Fringe...and to be honest, I am really getting into the sci-fi/legend/myth genre of TV. Not hardcore sci-fi, but the kind that I can actually understand 😆 And JJ is always top of my list for that kind of thing. He and Joss Whedon are really the only two creators I look out for in this genre.

So I guess that's another show to look out for 😆...I'll have to have a look at teh synopsis and see what its about...

I will definitely download Nikita and see it over the weekends or so till fall shows begin.

@ sci-fi/myth/mystery genre shows--- me too! I'm liking those so far and well this fall, tv seems to be taking it even further with so many new shows coming up with those genres. I guess it's like how a year or so ago, it was the trend of several ...and i mean SEVERAL cop shows/ lawyer shows...now you see more mystery/sci-fi shows.😆

@Fivr---- oh so your "mehman" finally left?! How relieving is that, isn't it?😆 Gee tell me about that! It sucks when you have certain type of house guests for long...😆 you can't wait till you get your house and everything inside back to yourself!🤣

Hey Fivr! Oh, achcha, ab bala finally tali! 😆 Now you can rest in peace for a while...you know, the immediate first few days after an "athithi" leaves after a long stay are like, the best...a totally different feeling to normal living 😆

@Amy - yeah, I guess when people spot a winner they latch on and create a "trend"...I suppose Indian TV isn't the only culprit guilty of that...

LMAO! I wasn't used to being able to walk around in my pjs anymore.. Or to be able to eat what I like when I want to, instead of having to wait for that "fixed meal" of the day.. Or the silence! I wasn't used to the silence at all! 😆
