I guess you must really think highly of the tastes of this friends of yours that you were willing to give Gulaal a chance😆

Anyways...I'm not sure you will like the rest of the scenes...this scene was a rare one...most Gulaal-Kesar scenes are not close or more in that space of typical chemistry...it's a very different kind of chemistry...either it appeals to someone or it doesn't...and from what I've seen so far of the shows that have appealed to you...ghodi show, Tru Blood...yeah Gulaal is like in a whole another direction from those😆...the leads aren't in the technical physical appearance compatibility mode either😆

Well, that was the reason I didn't go all " What are you watching!!!" on her, since I had read and seen all the excitement in the CC about it. So it did matter.. hehe

Hmmm.. isn't it possible to like LNMDJ and Gulaal? Case in point, the friend of mine that I was talking about. She said, she felt some connection between two characters after a long time since Prithvi-Damini.

Physical appearance compatibility.. hehe.. New term learned today. I think physical appearance plays a big part in a character. I might watch True Blood because Eric Northman is definitely easy on the eyes, but I would stop watching if I can not connect to the story. I love Eric Northman and yet love Sheldon Cooper or Barney Stintson.

My tastes in films ( simply because I have no long term experience in following series) is pretty eclectic. I enjoyed Udaan as much as AAA. I even enjoyed most of Singh is King and yet loved DevD or Manorama Six Feet Under. It is so difficult to pinpoint what appeals and what doesn't. The only genre that I am definitely not going to watch is horror, simply because I am a big time scaredy cat.. hehe

Hi everyone :)

@Vasu: I just finished watching Episode 4 right now. It is so hard for me to take this slowly, but I'm trying to do that. I just want to watch it all in a row! And I know what you mean about MN (*tries not to spoil it for anyone*) and I like TA too!

I was reading some of the messages from earlier about Lion King and I forgot how much I loved the movie. I first watched it when I was 7 or 8 years old and I never got to see it again. Any recommendations on the movies?? I am completely clueless if they released any other ones, so can you please recommend me the ones to watch?? I'll look for it online and watch them tonight. Thank you :-) :-)

IF is horrible with the popup ads! I am getting so many of them even though I have installed pop up blocker and what not. I just want to leave and never visit this site ever again.

@Amy: I have to echo LadyM on this...I just can't bring myself to care even remotely about Nabya anymore...lol

@Mru: I get your point...I was just saying it in general based on the various reactions I've seen to Gulaal...we all have eclectic tastes in various ways.

Today BALH was BLAH! Nothing exciting ... but nice to see Ram warming up to Priya. Priya is uptight as ever ... she doesn't seem to care about Ram - whereas he seems to be thawing. :-) He's irritated and annoyed - but is still going with the flow. Ram's dadi doesn't impress much... neither does Priya's nani ... side actors are sidey and production values are still sh*ty ...

Edit:

Even CT show was yawnworthy ... so CT breaks bumblebee's fast (predictably) before the Pooja - thus making her vrat go waste. She gives him furious looks and a cold shoulder despite the fact that he saved her from a precarious fall and has the gall to question his motives. Rest of the episode was - Anjali ka pati kuan ... suspense... 😆

*shakes head* I'm starting to lose patience with this couple. The pace is ridiculously slow. It took one whole week for Khushi to hand in her resignation, and one week for this vrat/mandir stuff to play out. They'll spend one more week unraveling the Shyam mystery. Why does this show not MOVE forward?

That's my problem too.

I'm so close to giving up on the show after watching today's episode. They spent so long staring at each other! *shakes head* The show is moving at a snail's pace.
Sanaya and Barun are so lucky. They don't have to do anything. Hardly any dialogues, and Barun gets away without expressions too. The guy gets paid to stand and to keep up with his consistent constipated stares.

🤣

Sarah - You are right ... if they didn't drag the show so much and give unwarranted footage to stares, trip and catch, and if there were better actors, phir the show would be worth a watch ... Like I was mentioning to Anu sometime back - even Karan and Kritika were better than this and hence KMH2 had some watchable moments.

But all the shows start out this way - and then they eventually get derailed. It is nice that there are new shows every month - more variety 😊

Woahhh!! Anu, did you watch? I'm a bit speechless at the moment. Kesar's last dialogue stumped me...bechari Gulaal par toh aasman gir para. WOWW!

I'll just go watch it again to unwind my tongue/fingers/mind...too much awesomeness to grab in one go...wow!
