The daadi looks like a typical pind-ki-bholi-bhaali dadi, but like you say, her dialogue delivery is screwed up. Its interesting to see how the rich Ram's daadi is so simple and villager-type while the poorer Shipra's mother is more hi-fi, modern type.

Yeah she has the LOOK of a typical pind di daadi...that's spot on...but apart from that she's pathetic...can't ACT...*sigh*

And oh god that Apeksha chick...my god WHAT is happening to K-shows?? Not that the sidey characters were ever Oscar-worthy acting-wise but these are like NEW LOWS...WHO is casting all these champus?? Chick can't act AT all...she was SO blank-faced in the last scene...if they put her in a scene with Ram or Sakshi, woh toh isko kaccha chabaa jaayenge...lol...heck even NUTS will eat her alive acting-wise...chick has on PERSONALITY only...and they'll show HER as Ram's ex?? Bleaghhh I hate all this Kekta-giri.

Exactly. Maybe all the old actors are refusing to work with her, so she is bringing in champus to fill the gaps? What I wouldn't give for someone like Sai Deodhar-Anand or Shweta Kawaatra or hell, Pallavi Subhash to be playing Apeksha or whatever her name is...at least they would spark some interest from me. I was working on my laptop while watching BALH and even just listening to the girl annoyed me. I haven't downloaded an episode since the engagement, I think...it's just too depressing. Gah.

Yeah post the engagement things have reallyyy slowed down...last epi I downloaded was the one when she grabs Ram's arm to say "he's my fiance" I think...loll...just to make avis...but apart from that...blahhh

I like your HIMYM sigs! lol those scenes look so funny! I've been meaning to watch this show since ages but never got around to it...I should hopefully soon.

Hey, thanks! Yeah, HIMYM is really funny, esp. season 1...Barney is pretty much the best thing about it though! The ensemble cast is great, but NPH is a masterclass actor...absolutely hysterical 😆 You should watch it if you can...it's very unpredictable and not cliche (in many ways).

My advice to whoever hasn't watched ZNMD yet: Go see it!

It was hands down the best release of 2011 so far. It didn't have trashy item songs, bikini clad goris, people with wannabe attitudes / fake accents, random hawt scenes or mindless comedy. There was a heart, soul and substance. The dynamic between the three male leads was believable.

It was good to see Hrithik in a more normal avatar after the crapfest known as Guzarish (my heart goes out to anybody who watched that film). Farhan was hilarious - I didn't expect him to be so entertaining. Abhay did a commendable job as well. I thought Katrina would be playing yet another glam doll with nothing substantial to do, but her character was a surprise package! I can't remember the last time she played an actual character, as opposed to playing the hero's arm candy.

The cinematography was amazing. Spain looked gorgeous on the big screen. I don't think those scenes would have the same affect on TV. When you're sitting in the theater you feel as if you're there yourself, experiencing the scenery first hand.

The songs ... I liked Senorita. The tomato festival song wasn't shabby either. Can't remember the rest, lol.

I wouldn't compare ZNMD to a classic like Dil Chahta Hai but it was good enough to qualify as a decent entertainer nevertheless. :D

WHY you ask?? How could you?? THAT is what makes this show UNMATCHED...as GG stated a few pages back...Nothing beats this show! Period😆😆...Which is why you have HORIZONTAL fainting...😆😆
