I think the acting is so fantastic with nuances...you can SEE how torn he is, his hurt, his pain at all the hurtful things she's said to him...and he wants to turn away, but he ultimately can't...the pause and the turn back is so finely enacted IMO...you see the struggle on his face, the pain in his eyes and in the end he can't help but be pulled back again...he has to go and put the blanket on her...now this is how I see it...to another person, this may seem like too young looking a guy "romancing" a woman 15 years older than him, so there is all probability of getting eeked out...toh apna apna nazariya hota hai. Truee... for starters this avi does not creep me out ... It brings across this poignance actually and your description just adds so much more ya the acting is brilliant the little nuances are brought out beautifully.. But wohi na everyone looks for different things.. Like the finer nuances of acting and story telling fascinate you.. Some people(you😆) like depth and layers..Kisi aur ko kuch aur fascinate karta ho ga...I would not claim to have a taste as fine as you guys par itna bura bhi nahi hehe..

Waisay haan I forgot to add pehlay.. you know what intrigues me most about Gulaal..the fact that it turned you over.. I remember you being eeked out and creeped out waisay it never creeped me out that much bhi.. Well I never gave it that much thought lol ... and then one day I saw you mention how you liked some BG music in some Gulaal video.. next I see you sport Gulaal avis/sigs.. And then you are so taken in and the discussions and then Mash and Fivray joining in.. Absolutely and totally intrigued! I can't explain it, Zainu...but I feel that if any person was to REALLY follow this show...REALLY follow this STORY...you'd realize how remarkable it is...THAT is what took me aback...it started from one scene...and I was like...hmmm, it's not that bad as I'd thought it would be...maybe it's cuz I'm not watching the child waale scenes...lol...then I watched a few more scenes...started loving the bg music...ended up watching all the scenes...lol...and somewhere along the way, the characters, the story...mann mein ghar kar gaye...I feel the more you watch the show, the more you start realize how fantastically written it is with all these nuances in it...and that is what makes the impact...that you rise above whatever the concept first sounds like to you on paper...the WAY they've shown it changed my perspective totally, Zainu...to the point where I could just UNDERSTAND these characters, their multi-layered situations in every way...yes everything from the bond that started when Kesar was a child to the point they are at right now...to follow it as a STORY and follow it based on the journey of these characters, their personalities...that is what makes it all so intriguing to watch/discuss...and never before have I been so vocal about my repulsion towards a show and then turned around to love it...amazing feat😆...kahin toh log mujhpe zaroor hanste honge😆

I dunno how Mash and Fivr joined in...stroke of luck😆...main toh soch rahi thi, mujhe Gulaal forum mein hi bhatakna padega to talk about this😆

Yaar catch up is actually not that bad...if you like the scenes/story enough, you can keep watching at your own pace...the story moves quickly and doesn't really drag...

LOLL Zainu...Triv and I are surely different. I would never watch a show which have DUDES in PINK shirts or pants. And let me clear that I'm not disapproving the shows or any one who watches them...it's just a personal choice...and again to clear, I do NOT believe I have superior taste...it's just that the Pinkish-ness (or the girly-ness) of the dudes would distract me from everything else in the show. 😆
