Oh god this is sounding really bad...I hope there are no more blasts...can the police be competent for ONCE???!!! Hadh hai yaar...how can this keep on happening in Bombay again and AGAIN??

Yeah, and apparently all three bombs were planted in geographically difficult to group locations - Dadar, Zaveri bazaar and Opera House...so this spreads the resources. I *think* though I can't be sure, that all blasts went off simultaneously or at least very close after each other.

I hope the police have learned from 08 and will respond to this much quicker to control it. Again, some reports are saying that there is a fourth bomb that they are trying to locate and diffuse. What I wanna know is what were the intelligence agencies doing before this? Sleeping? Most of these attacks CAN be found out and stopped in advance...I want to know why this one escaped their radar.

Yes, it is apparently Kasab's birthday, which - if it is the true motive - is only going to fuel more hatred between Ind and Pak...esp. after the whole Bin Laden scandal where the Americans didn't bother informing Pak or ISI about their raid...which led to questions of leaks and loyalties within ISI...this is not going to improve those relations at all.. .

The police NEVER seems to learn, Vasu...NEVER...this isn't the first time blasts are happening in Bombay but these have such a bloody sab chalta hai attitude! Is there no lesson to be learnt from past incidents? Do you see 9/11 happening everyday in the U.S.?? It's not like ppl aren't always plotting...but obviously they've stepped up vigilance here...

So what is India doing?? What is Bombay police doing? Busy khaaoing bribes??

I don't know how true the Kasab thing could be...I don't know if he has enough power or connections for ppl to be doing anything in his name...but yes obviously there are always elements who will try to use this to create more issues b/w the countries.

So true. There was SUCH a furore in Nov 2008 - government promising this and that, everyone's emotions heightened, promises and threats made and promising to be kept. What happened? Why do we need to have the NSG come in and save the day every time? What is the point of having the ordinary uniformed police officers then? Might as well get rid of them since they do nothing.

Even here in the UK, after 7/7, the police have kept vigilant and stopped many potential attacks (that we know of and loads I'm sure that we haven't even heard of). Of course people don't stop plotting, but at least *touchwood* our police, corrupt as it may be in other ways, has kept security up. Yes, it took the Americans 10 years and 2 wars, but they eventually got Bin Laden. Do the Indian police really believe that Kasab was the mastermind of the 2008 attacks? And that having him in custody means they have solved the problem? What happened to going after Lashkar-e-Taiba? No wonder things like this happen again and again. Our politicians are completely useless, and their appointed policemen even worse.

Yeah, I don't think that Kasab has any kind of clout or importance in the hierarchy of terrorism that people will do such a thing in his name...but it is an awful coincidence. I guess it could be local/home-grown terrorism also...we know nothing at this stage...

and blasts again in Mumbai?News channels have been telling that the CIA HAD warned about such attacks this week.I dont know what do people get by killing these innocent victims

I just watched yesterday's BALH...wow I had no idea that even Priya exploded on KARTIK...so basically Nuts got off scott-free?? My god I really hate that chick.

And Kartik really is a loser...bol nahin sakta that WHAT exact crap Nuts was talking? The few moments that his family let him get in edgewise...

Ram is like totally illogical when it comes to his family...hopeless cause.

I dont know why and how,but somehow I have totally lost interested in BALH😕I happened to just catch some glimpses of Ram-Priya moments but the rest is just so kekta mayi types...

I just read this news feed a minute ago reg. the blasts.

20:23 PM Lucky miss for school kids at Dadar blast : Abhishek Mande reporting from Kabutarkhana, the site of the Dadar blast says the Antonio Da Silva, which just behind the bus stop where the blast took place, closes at 6 pm. The last school bus left at 6.40 pm. So, thankfully, no casualties who are children.
