He enjoys his work as much as he enjoys his weekend jamming session with his band.

Natasha Kapoor (Ram's step-sister)

She is a rich and arrogant schizophrenic girl who is used to having things her own way and it is not long before she wants Kartik for herself. She decides that since Kartik is the man for her and she is madly and passionately in love with him, she can latch on to him by 'buying' his love through her brother's money just like she has been buying everything she ever wanted all her life. But to her dismay Kartik is not the sort of guy to be lured by somebody's money or power. Though he is also in love with Natasha but not for her money or for her beauty for that matter. Its her madness, her wilder and wacko side that attracts him to her.

Neha Shergill (Vikram's Wife)

A woman in her late 30's who was the hottest girl of her college. Today she is blissfully married with 3 kids. The guy she married was a casanova of his college and they both had a college romance after which they got married. For her Kids she is their Super Mom and for her husband she is still the girl he fell head over heels in love with.

Niharika Kapoor (Ram's step-mother)

In her mid fifties but flawlessly beautiful and elegant, she isn't the evil step mother but rather recognizes the fact that Ram has done a lot for her and her kids. She dotes on Ram like anything and places him before her own kids. She also wants Ram to get married but to a girl of her own choice so that she can always have the upper hand in Ram's life. She is the care taker of the entire house. At one point she was an air-hostess and that is how she met Ram's father and got married to him even though he was much older to her. Ram sheltered her and her kids and in return she loved him like her own kid. Coming from an elite family she is considered to be a diva in page three circles. She interacts with all the rich and famous personalities.

Rishabh Kapoor (Ram's step-brother)

A rich spoilt brat who is done with his education long back but still doesn't want to work. His outlook in life is to enjoy the life to the fullest at the expense of his brother's money. Rishabh is extremely close to his youngest sister and can do anything for her.

Shipra Sharma (Priya's Mom)

A lady in her early 50's who has not lost her passion for living life king-size. A one time model married to a man who had a chance to make it big in his youth but couldn't make due to some unforeseen circumstances, she is a vibrant and loud character who still cherishes the dream of making it to the elite class of page 3 someday. A complete gossip monger who has the complete information about who's who of media world.

Siddhanth Kapoor (Ram's step-brother)

Eldest step brother of Ram. A young enterprising guy with an attitude that he rules the world and can get whatever he wants with the power of his money. Although efficient in his own way but Siddhanth is always overshadowed by his eldest brother. He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth so doesn't know much about the hardship that one has to go through in establishing an empire as big as theirs. Idolizes his eldest brother and would go to any extent to prove to his metal as a businessmen to him and everyone else.

Sudhir Sharma(Priya's Father)

A funny yet earnest man in his mid 50's who still aspires to be an actor someday. He is an idealist and a man of principles who has married a one-time model after a steamy affair in his youth with her. Sudhir is completely opposite of his wife - doesn't have big dreams but wishes to contribute to the world in whichever way he can. He is very close to his eldest daughter Priya and is like a friend to her. He jokes with her but at the same time understands her like nobody else.

Vikram Shergill (Ram's friend)

A happily married man in his 40s who knows the way of life and has accepted that it is not always rosy and there are bad times as well. Vikram is a very balanced person who takes care of his business as well as of his 3 kids and wife. From a Casanova in his youth to a family guy, his life has taken a complete swing. He is a very happy go lucky kind of character who exuberates warmth and gets everyone around him in a jolly mood. He is Ram's best friend and a very close associate ' in fact Ram's only friend.

Either Kekta changed the character sketches later on or some goof-up is happening in the writing team😆

Unless they mean "dote" as "rely", in which case it sticks.

@LadyM: LOL I have no soft corners for that loser...yes he's obviously a better actor than this expressionless Barun person but even then I'm not interested in watching KSG version of CT...bleaghhh...this show is MAHA BORING...the backdrop, the way the scenes are conceived, EVERYTHING is too stale and tasteless...no spark in anything.

I swear KMH1 and 2 seem like masterpieces in comparison to me...heck KSG ko chhodo...PUNJI could have played this role better...lol...he's not some kind of overbloated short midget like KSG alteast :P and he can act better than Barun...yeh Barun ki toh AAWAAZ hi nahin nikalti...Vas is so right...his voice is so soft and kinda whiny...sounds like he'll start CRYING anytime he opens his mouth🤣...I'll take Punji's kharaash waali aawaaz over this guy I guess😆

Anu - I am pretty sure they change the characters after they are cast or after they do they pilot testing ... case in point Navya. As per the promos, her character was more jovial and bubbly, whereas Anant's seemed a little shy. Par yahan toh mamla ulta hai ... not that I mind it, but sometimes what looks good on paper may not translate very well on screen. Maybe it is these actors they cast that bring in their own quirks :-)

LOL LadyM...Punji actually played a very similar character in KMH1...cold, arrogant business tycoon with an angsty past relating to his family etc. etc.😆...and even though I've laughed my head off at his kaajal lined eyes in the beginning of that show...he did a better job than Barun I feel...if that's the comparison scale😆...it's not like KMH1 show was a good show to begin with...but yeah, when I see borefests like CT show, then in comparison KMH seems better...haha...yeah KK did have chemistry for sure...I don't see much b/w Sanaya and Barun despite the very TYPICAL scenes they show has started with😆

As for Anant-Navya...LOL they don't really fall in the same bracket anyways cuz they actually showed a story development with those two...they weren't trying to coast along on cliched scenes and "chemistry"😆...AN are an example of presentation making a difference😆
