Hmmm...Eijaz is back, huh. Was wondering where he disappeared to. When will we see this article for MB?! Anu, does it seem to you as if MB & Ekta have fallen out?
Yeah, maybe his "priorities" are different 🤔. It's hard not to feel disappointed though that he hasn't done anything substantial since KZK. At least Tina did do that DD show, crappy as it was. Full respect to his Bolly ambitions but as you say, Eijaz is trying to crack Bolly and still manages a show here and there. Ronit Roy is the perfect example of managing the two. I mean, the man is in a twice-weekly and still able to film Udaan and go to Holly for the Tagore film, which I am still desperately waiting for 😍
Anyway, sometimes it seems to me that MB has been typecast in the role he was in - even in his film Kismat Konnection he was a watered-down and more annoying version of UD. I am sure he can be versatile, but until he actually bothers to show us that, how can we know?Sigh.Anyway, how are you? Looking forward to BALH today?

@bold: Totally agree...honestly MB hasn't REALLY made an effort to be versatile...he claims he has big bollywood ambitions but doesn't seem like he's attempted to pursue it much aggressively...especially considering he already has a dad for a producer...even if he was the producer of CID type of stuff😆
MB ka funda mujhe toh samajh nahin aata...he appears LAZY more than anything now😆...the other actors actually seem more practical about their careers and their attempts to balance their career goals along with the options on TV as well.
Oh yeah Sukhi had told me about Ronit's Tagore movie...I'm intrigued to see that too.
Yeppp deffo looking forward to BALH today!😃😆
Hey Anu, Vasu and LadyM! :)
Just replying to some posts from the previous CC ...

LOL I think at one point he actually was in the running to play this role if I'm not mistaken...haha...but then they reworked the concept or something and dil ka daactar went off to play some chindi "host" on channel vHaww Anu, you mean dil ka dactar was in the running to play Arnav? And he didn't get the part? Dang it! *heart shatters into a million pieces*
LOL I'm proud of you, Sarah...even if you still sound a little unsure with the "I think"...now if only the rest of the junta would outgrow this b.s. at some point too.Don't get your hopes up - the rest of the junta is never outgrowing this b.s. As long as there are teenagers around, nonsense of this sort will continue to attract them. If one generation outgrows it, another one will come along to carry forward the legacy. 😆
That's not so pathetic. Even I was watching this show yesterday thinking that had this been 5 years ago, I would probably have loved those scenes too...but I guess it was all about the hormonal teenage thing - as long as we grow out of that, we're good. it's the people who don't grow out of it that scare me.True, I guess it was all about the hormones at that point. Plus, back then this concept was still somewhat refreshing. There weren't 96567457568 Khushi's and Arnav's running around on Indian television. Now this genre has been done to death. It's the same old ghisi piti kahani everywhere. A poor girl crosses paths with some rich tycoon, heated face-offs ensue, she winds up working for him and they fall in lowe. So unoriginal.
Also, I still like those love-hate relationships shows I just need it to a) be logical, or rather, believable, if not logical and b) have much, much, much, MUCH better actors than we currently have on screen. If I have those two things, then even if the story is the most unoriginal thing ever, I can live with it. Sad but true.
LOL, join the club. I would still go for a love-hate relationship too, if the screenplay is different and the actors are good enough. Sometimes an old concept can work if it is presented in a unique and novel manner. Take the movie Band Baja Baraat for instance ' its concept was so unoriginal on paper. Boy meets girl, they start out platonically, girl falls for boy, he doesn't reciprocate her feelings until she finds someone else, big confession scene, happy ending. It was very cliched but because the presentation was refreshing, the movie was a hit.
