I'v write another reviews from my friend suryya so i thought I ;v share this one with all you Guys another reviews Hey People...Here Is My Review Of 'Shaitan'...😊
Shaitan, A Movie Just So Similar Yet So Different..Yes It Is Similar In The Sense Of Reality...It Represent What Today's Youngsters Do Just For The Heck Of It...Shaitan Does Not Deal With One Person Or One Life, It Deals With The Various Problems One Goes Through In Life & How One Deals With It...The Answer In It Is Simple Dealing With Life Has Two Ways, The Right Way & The Wrong Way...But Shaitan Proves It To Us That The Right & The Wrong Ways Are Not The Only Way Avaliable To One..Shaitan Talks About A Third Way, Which Is The Real Way...Yes The Movie Goes Through A Very Realistic Approach...There Is Nothing In The Movie Which Can Be Pointed Out & Said, 'Hey This Does Not Seem Real...The Movie Does Not Preach & Teach The People Watching The Film Not To Take Drugs, Not To Drink, All That The Movie Shows Is Reality...It Shows That Drug Abuse Exists Among Todays Youth, It Shows What Crimes Overly Drinking Leads Too... It Differs From Person To Person As How They Deal With Their Problems.. While It Shows Sometimes Youth Take The Wrong Means To Deal With Their Problems, While A Mature Person Like Arvind Mathur, Seems To Just Ignore His Problems...A Cop Like Arvind Mathur Does Not Ignore His Problems For The Heck Of It, But He Ignores Them Because He Is Not Expressive...He Cares, He Has Emotions, He Has Anger, But He Is Still Not Expressive...& This Is Why Arvind Mathur Has Problems In His Life, One He Is Not Expressive, Two He Cannot Tell His Loved One's That He Cares, Three He Just Can't Seem To Control His Anger At Times...While On One Hand The Cop Ignores His Problems, For The Five Youngsters, They Create Problems & Fall Into More Problems Just For The Heck Of It...For Amy, KC, Dash, Tanya & Zubin, Life Is A Thrill & They Want To Live Off The Edge... While Trying To Live Their Life Of The Edge They Get Caught In The Web Of Crimes & They Just Seem To Be Getting Stuck More & More In The Sinking Sand Of The Mire, With No Way To Come Out Of It...Yes Shaitan By The The End Just Does Not Say & Prove That Each One Realize Their Mistake, The Movie Just Shows That By The End Of The Movie That Though You May Not Have Over Come Your Inner Demon But Still You Are Aware Of It...Shaitan Shows That Knowing About Your Ownself's Demons First Is Far Better Than Fighting It...Once You Know Then One Can Choose What They Want To Do, Fight Or Stay Quiet... It Is Better That First We Know What Exactly Are We On The Inside & Then Fight Against It... It Becomes A Whole Lot Easier When You Know The Enemy You Are Tackling..Shaitan Is A Movie Which Takes You On A Roller Coster Ride Of Emotions...It Shows People's Greed, Anger, Pain, Betrayal & How These Different Characters Deal With It Is The Story Of Shaitan...The Movie Seems Real, When I Was Seeing The Movie All I Thought Was That, The Things Being Shown In The Movie Are The Truth... It Is In Simple, Plain Sense Nothing But The Truth...The Begining Scene Of The Movie May Give One A Weird Feeling...As The Story Goes On To The First Ten Minutes, Where The Five Characters, Amy, KC, Dash, Zubin & Tanya Are Introduced We Get To See The Problems Each One Of Them Has...Each One Is Dealing With Different Situations, But What Gets Them Together Are That They Are Five Friends Who Believe That There Are No Rules In Friendship Except Trust & What Keeps Them Together Is All They Want To Do Is Live Life With Extreme Thrill...Unhe Darr Mein Ek Kisam Ka Mazaa Aatha Hai... Even Death Does Not Scare Them...They Are Just Five Spoilt Brats, Rich, Middle Class, Poor Does Not Matter, They Are Just Seeking For The Exteme Adventure In Life...Some Will Call It Madness, But It Is Their Life For Them...On The Other Hand Cop Arvind Mathur Played By Our Dear Rajeev Khandelwal, As Usual Leaves A Mark...There Are Many Instances In The Movie Where I Can Talk About The Tough Cop Arvind Mathur...His Entry Sequence Which Happens After Ten To Twenty Minutes Of The Movies Start, For People Who Are Watching The Movie Especially For Mr. Rajeev Khandelwal, The First Ten Minutes Will Be Very Anxious...As The Anxious Moments Pass By When A Co-Officer Takes Mathur's Name, You Are Literally At The Edge Of Your Seat...First The Voice Makes It's Entry...The Voice Seems To Have Been More Tougher To Suit A Cop's Role...As The Camera Goes Zooming Around We Get The Idea Of How The Straight Forward Cop Arvind Mathur Deals With Things...& When Finally Arvind Mathur Is Shown, It Is Like Life To You...Yes When I Saw The Scene It Felt Like Life Has Come Back To Me & I'am Breathing...I Seriously Had A Huge Smile On My Face Which Refused To Leave My Face Through Out The Whole Movie & Even After The Movie Finished My Smile Declined To Vanish...The Movie Starts At A Considerable Pace & It Takes Time For Us To Understand Each & Every Character...Every Character Is A Complicated Character, Rather A Complicated Personality With In Themselves... Shaitan Is About Dealing With These Complexities...Shaitan Proves It To Us By The End That All Complexities Cannot Be Won Over, It Is Just That A Person Has To Understand The Complexities & Learn To Balance...Shaitan Does Not Have Any Teaching Value To It, What We Know Is ,What Is Actually Going On & When We Walk Out Of The Theatre It Completely Depends On Us If We Want Know Our Inner Complexities & Demons, Face Them Or Ignore Them...It Is Completely To The Viewers Choice...Amy, Kalki's Performance Is Very Nice, She Proves Her Point In The Role Of A Girl Who Has Faced A Near Dying Trauma In Her Childhood...While Tanya, Kurti's Performance Is Fine But Not Eye Catchy, Coming From A Middle Class Home, Tanya, Struggles Her Way In Life, Her Life Is Hard & What Make It Easy For Her Is The Thrill Of Living Off The Edge Which She Has With Her So Called Friends...It Is A Good Bit...Towards The End Tanya's Role Becomes Voicing...Next Talking About KC & Zubin, Well These Two Though Rich Are Just Spoilt In Life...Unhe Kudh Bhii Nahii Patah What They Want From Their Life & For Them, Esp For KC Life Is Just A Fun Ride...While For Zubin Though Understands The Seriousness Of Life Is Not Serious About Life...They Both Are Quiet Good In There Roles...Now Talking About, Dash Alias Dushyant, Shiv Pandit, Is Really Nice...Among The Five Only Kalki & Shiv Are The Most Effective...Dash, The Planner, Who Plans Everything In Order, But Things Do Not Go His Way, Towards The End Of The Movie One Can Sense That Dash Wants To Make Quick Money & We Can Feel Greed Creeping Into Him...He Is Also Quiet Scary At Times...In Short All The Five Youth Characters Have Done A Fair Enough Job...Talking About Nandini, Sheetal Menon, Though She Did Not Have Much Role, But She Did Justice To Her Bit...& Now Finally Talking About Suspended Inspector Arvind Mathur, Rajeev Khandelwal, He Is Very Impressive In The Role...For The People Who Are Expecting That Like 'Aamir' Rajeev Will Be Present In Each & Every Second Frame Of The Movie, Then No Let Me Tell You, It Is Not Like That...The First One Hour Has Quite Little Of The Cop...Yes But Whenever Arvind Mathur Is On Screen For How Many Ever Times That Is Before The Interval, He Is Very Cool, Typical Hard Hitting, A Honest Straight Forward Cop...The Sequence Where He Throws A Contractor From The First Floor Coolly For The Wrong He Has Done Shows That He Is The Kind Of Cop Who Takes No Nonsense...The Scene Where He Is With His Wife, His Eyes Reveal What He Is Not Able To Say...He Just Can't Get Himself To Say 'I Care'...There Are Many Scenes In The First Half Of The Cop Which Leave The Audience Wanting To See More Of The Cop 'Arvind Mathur'...The Scenes To Talk About Are Umpteen... Every Frame That Rajeev Is On He Has Left His Mark...Rajeev Has Improved A Lot On His Dialogue Delivery, He Has Made Quiet Good Physique To Suit The Role...Talking About The Cop Arvind Mathur, I Can Talk About His Entry Scene, The Scene With His Wife, The Scene During The Divorce Filling, The Scene Where He Kicks, Punches, Slaps The Wrong Doer's, Everything Is Absolutely Fabulous...& By The Interval The One Thought Which You Will Have Is Why Has Rajeev/Arvind Mathur Shown Little In The Part Before The Interval...But Once The Movie Resumes After The Interval, People Will Have No Complaints Regarding Rajeev Khandelwal Being Missing From The Frame, After The Interval It Is All The Way Cop Arvind Mathur...After The Interval Is The Place Where The Chase Begins, Arvind Mathur Is Too Damn Good Here..He Completely Nails The Role, With Perfection To The 'T'...Whether It Is Scene Were He Talks To The Commissioner, Or When He Kicks The Auto Or When He Takes His Informer From His Wedding & Ask Him Shaadi Karke Kya Kar Lega Or The Scene Were He Goes To Meet His Wife, All The Scenes Which Has Rajeev Are Subtle, Nothing Over The Top Nothing Extravagant, But Still Very Good... Yes Surely One Has To Look Out For Rajeev In The Movie, He Has Given A Excellent Performance Once Again...All Through The Movie My Mouth Was Wide Open & I Was Grining Like A Mad Person When Arvind Mathur Made A Appearance On The Frame...The One Dialogue Where Arvind Tells His Co-Cop 'Kekde Mein Khoon Aur Police Waale Mein Imaan Nahii Hotha' Or The Dialogue Where He Interrogates Zubin In The Police Van Is, Were He Says 'Interogation Mein Right Sirf Police Ka Hotha Hai'... These Are Just Simple Dialogues But When Seen In The Movie They Have A Huge Impact...The Last But One Scene Of Rajeev & Kalki Is Nice, Were Just Arvind's Expressions Says It All...& Then The Last Scene Of Cop Arvind Mathur With His Wife, Though Does Not Have Any Dialogues, They Are Just Expressions & Everything Is Understood...The Last Scene Of Rajeev In The Movie Is Simply Beautiful & It Shows Acceptance Of Everything Will Be Alright...Rajeev Has Done A Brilliant, Par Excellence Job...Once Again Rajeev Khandelwal Playing The Role Of Suspended Cop Arvind Mathur Has Put His Best Foot Forward, With A Power Pact Performance...Simply Loved Rajeev In The Angry Young Man Role...In Short The Movie Shaitan Completely Rocked...It Is A Movie Out Of The Box, Completely Out Of The Blue...Good Performances, Good Cinematography, Good Direction, Good Songs...The Songs In The Movie Are With The Flow & Because Of This The Scenes & The Songs Are More Effective...The Songs 'Khoya Khoya Chand' & 'Pintya' Are shot very well... The Movie Is Awesome...Just Simply To Good...It Is A Movie One Must Not Miss At Any Cost...For All The Movie Lovers, Who Like Passionate Cinema This Movie Is A Must Watch...Cop Arvind Mathur Simply Nailed It...He Was Perfect Like Always...It Is A Treat For All Of Us & One More Thing For All The Rajeev Khandelwal Lovers Out There There Are A Lot Of Punches, Kicks, Beating & Slaps You Can Look Out For From The Suspended Cop Arvind Mathur...Hehe...Don't Miss The Movie... Shaitan A Must Watch For The Movie Lovers...Suspended Cop Arvind Mathur Just Cannot Be Suspended From Your Hearts..He Is A Cop With A Tough Exterior But Is Still Lovable...Rajeev Khandelwal Leaves A Mark...Brilliant Work...Kudos To Everyone!!

My Rating To The Movie Would Be ***1/2...
