My dark and twisty Mer is just scared freaked out and at the same time so blissfully HAPPY she can't even believe all this is actually ACTUALLY happening, she has waited for this moment ever since she found out she was pregnant back in s6, remember the smile she had on her face when she came to see Derek in Chief's office in the finale? Remember that smile when he was busy in his paper work and she just stood there McDreaming away at him? OMG in that one smile she already imagined how freaking priceless he would be with their baby she already imagined this moment which happened yesterday him holding their baby dancing away to eternity with it, it was a dream come true moment for her people and she just wanted to stand there and take the magic in.

It was BEAUTIFUL and she i already in LOVE with the baby she is not holding back she is already attached she is just so happy that she can't believe it and she just wants this moment to freeze right here and go on forever, she wants time to just stand still, she is scared to even touch her fearing she might break this moment might fade away fearing this may all be a dream and the moment she moves it would vanish, you know what I mean? it happens its human psychology when you have hoped and wished and yearned for something for far too long and suddenly it comes true you just aren't able to believe your damned luck you aren't able to believe its all real, I think thats what is happening to her, she just wants to stand there and drink the incredible moment in.
