coz cheif fires her coz of some lil mistake of hers during the merger.. and she is so upset, tht she leaves without telling alex too.. and sorta blames him for her being fired.

but the best is tht she doesnt die of cancer.. she survies through it..

she does come back after she leaves seattle grace.. for alex.. and she comes coz mare mssges her tht come back soon, or else ull lose alex... he is moving on
