Yeah...I too thought...here's a man who's leading a battered team with their home country in disarray. He was all grceful in defeat at Mohali. But now, he's being his great dirty self. Reminds me of Imran Khan. he'd once said 'Every match with India is like Jehad'. Moron. I'd stopped liking him after that. 🤢

And im not being biased here...if an indian player would have passed such comments then I would be bashing him too...just like I bash Bal Thackeray 😆

read this...

"Thackery, a Jharkhand Captain, a Chandigarh lad, and a Delhi boy won the World Cup, and Dedicated it to a Marathi legend. Your regional hatred has failed! Jai hooo!!"

Yes he did...back in the days. I remember coz it caused quite a furore. Back then jehad was not the term it became after 9/11. But he did say that. It is mentioned in this article...........http://www.asianage.com/columnists/beyond-boundaries-470 Excerpts......The intensity of India-Pakistan cricket needs to be distinguished from its frequency. For India, the hyper-nationalism probably peaked in the 12-15 years between the mid-1980s and the end of the 20th century. In the 1980s, India and Pakistan began to play each other more and more, in home and away series and in biannual tournaments in Sharjah. By the 1990s, television had converted limited-overs cricket games to gladiatorial contests, with Imran Khan infamously likening playing India to jihad. Every India-Pakistan match — wherever it was played, Toronto to Singapore — began with war bugles being sounded.
