@shaan - if u r looking for something that will eventually end than i recommend Pakistani shows 😆 all weeklies .. all end after a certain number of episodes 😛 and all have their share of good stories and good looking cast 😉
@Twin - so u were asking about how i spent my bday .. i didnt do much actually 😛
I think i m getting a little old for formal celebration but we cut a pineapple cake 😊 chief source of entertainment (for me) was my father 🤣🤣
Normally mom goes to sleep early ... so she wished me a couple of hours before midnight ... dad was in the same room and he was obviously surprised that its my bday the next day :P (btw my younger brother's bday was on the 2nd ... i m the one who is often reminded dad to wish ali ... u would think that he would remember that there will be another bday pretty soon 😛) BUT he was like i'll wish u when the clock strikes midnight and i was like okay 😆
He forgot 🤣🤣🤣
I'll give allowances for the fact that a little after midnight he got engrossed in watching news (bomb blast in Peshawar) but he could have wished me in that tiny period after midnight and before breaking news 😆
Morning ... i wake up ... dad is having breakfast ... mum is in another room reading paper ... i knew that she'll wish me again so i went directly to her and shushed her so she wont wish me in a very loud voice 🤣 I wanted to see how long it will take him to remember ... he didnt the whole day🤣🤣🤣 And even though he spent pretty much the whole day on FB ... he didnt notice the bday notification either 🤣 He finally found out when one of my cousin's wished me bday and later dad saw it on his newsfeed so he wished me bday beneath my cousin's comment ( i had accidentally blocked my wall to family ... which is why cousin wished me on one of my statuses 😳😆) Yup he wished me on fb instead of coming to my bedroom (which is right next to lounge where dad was sitting🤣 ) I was online so saw that he had wrote on my wall 🤣 god i was ROFL 🤣
Kher ..bcos i was adamant that i wont remind him ... so i only got to cut a cake around dinner time LOL ... that's the only concession given to tradition birthdays in my family ... my brother and i cut cakes on our bdays .. and mum tries to make our favorite food for lunch... oh that was boiled rice and kali daal ... i never get tired of this combo 😆... And lately i had been craving cold cakes so mum made one the very next day ... and i pretty much ate both the cakes in twenty four hours [:$ ]I think i should now go on a huge crash diet and exercise program 😆 ...
Btw... ali(my younger brother) came home for the weekend which was a pleasant surprise ... and i m still trying to get money out of dad as a bday gift 😆 lets see how long it takes me 😆
