Emma Watson and Rupert Grint's Harry Potter co-star Daniel Radcliffe has been donning the wizardry cloaks for close to 10 years. Throughout his adolescence and teen hood days, he has been living under the shadow of the famed wizard.

Hence, his sorrow and despondence is understandable after the shoot of the final film (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) was wrapped up. So, our Boy-who-lived decided to sneak in and steal a golden egg from the sets as a memento.

However, the lady luck wasn't with our amateurish thief who was caught red handed by the movie bosses and was compelled to return the object. The golden egg that forms a part of the 4th film (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) is worth a princely $15,000 and was going into a museum.

Had it not been that expensive, perhaps the producers would have let him have it! However, they did the car checks to ensure that nothing was being stolen. This is the same golden egg which has eluded another robbery. Earlier, Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) also attempted to sneak it off. But, the shrewd bosses were adept in identifying the thief and he had to return back empty-handed and slump-shouldered.
