about uncle .. here u go ...

my uncle is the panicky sort apparently ... when he realized that the servant is dead ... he left the room ,... took a riksha and went to my phupo's place (not ours bcos he wasnt sure of the way and oh his cell phone battery was down) so at like 5 am in the morning .. he is standing outside the house calling out my cousins' names .... phupo was the one who woke up and she got worried and panicked bcos someone was calling her son's names so it meant that it must be someone from the family and if he is outside r home at this hour than something bad must ahve happened (her husband had died of a heart attack at end of May ... i mentioned this in the den or rather bugsy's thread )... so she went out and when she saw uncle she got even more worried and asked him if everything was ok and uncle (grrr 😛) said no its not and my phupo got even more worried and when he saw that he finally said everything is ok bt not ok (typical sialkoti as my mother said 🤣 ) and than he finally got around to telling her tht the servant is dead and he left in panic thinking the police will arrest him (yeh Pk police has as bad a rep - but still 😆 they r not that bad 🤣)

so anyways than they went inside and called at r place (at like 5 40 am so everyone woke up thinking call at this hour - something bad must have happened) i figured out from dad's end of the conversation exactly what it was ... dad told uncle to call police ... cousin said forget police call rescue first (neither realized that uncle is over at phupo's which is like 3-4 minutes drive from our house and 20 from where uncle's rooms) but anyways my cousin left immediately but he went to the rooms first and than i think he went over to phupo's and after that the whole process began ...

things are fine now ... phupo's SIL is a lawyer ... dad called him and he called his munchi so that allowed for speedy postmortem (necessary in cases of accidental death) that area's officer in charge is apparently an acquaintance of dad's and even he was like chill ... nothing to worry about ....uncle's elder son brought over the wife and kids from our village (young family - eldest child is like 10 ... and they are darn poor 😭 ) after body was released they handed it over to the family and they took it to their home village ( a couple of hr's drive away from Lhr) so yeh long day ....

dad was really angry with uncle ... so was my cousin about leaving like this instead of immediately calling the police or rescue .. especially considering a major government hospital (Mayo) is a stone's throw away from my uncle's building .. yup dad was furious and even more furious for upsetting my phupo but now its all over .... postmortem will determine the cause of death etc .........
