The Enchanted Isle floated peacefully through the bright blue sky. Birds chirped all around flitting through the trees and water murmured as it rushed past.

"Shhh,"hushed Star Fairy Nitzie glaring at the silently giggling Summer Fairy Alia.

"Sorry," she whispered back tiptoeing behind Nitzie as they snuck through the Emerald forest. A sudden sound had both freezing until a tree branch gently pushed them along. Alia smiled gratefully and brushed her hand against the ancient oak tree's trunk in gratitude as the fairy's continued on their way.

"Please be so kind as to let us pass into the Forbidden City." Nitzie called out to the surrounding trees as the neared a particularly wild and thick part of the forest. The trees immediately swayed to the side creating a path for the fairies who quickly made their way through. Picking up speed now that they were covered by the magical trees the two flew the rest of the way towards their hidden destination.

"We made it!" Shrieked Alia as she passed through the last of the trees and entered what appeared to be a small colorful town.

Nitzie followed Alia at a slower pace taking the time to look about. "Wow it looks good. You guys did a good job."

A rainbow path made of M&M's wound lazily between the partially built buildings of gingerbread. Some had cut openings for doors and windows while others were decorated in frosting. Trees and mushrooms made of edible treats grew along the path. A stream of chocolate gurgled in the distance.

Night Fairy Sakshi quickly rushed over to greet them from where she had been making a glass of crystal sugar for one of windows she was working on. "Thanks! You guys are just in time to help. We were so excited when we started working that we haven't actually completed any one thing yet."

Ivy nodded mournfully. "Yeah, instead we have a whole bunch of partially built buildings and partially completed gardens. We just managed to finish the main M&M path and chocolate stream with the peppermint bridge. We finishing up this cottage now," Ivy pointed behind her at the plain gingerbread house. Squares had been cut in various places for the windows and door. It was surrounded by a partially built fence made of large white chocolate covered pretzels.

"Yum!"

"Let's get started!" Nitzie reached into her magical fairy bag and sprinkled some of her star dust on it. Instantly cake decorating and baking items began to fly out of her bag: bags of icing, candy pieces, chocolate chips, and everything that could possibly be needed to work on a gingerbread house. With a bit more fairy dust the items had grown in proportion enough to be used for the large house. The other fairies cheered and immediately set to work on completing the house.

~2 Hours Later~

"Alia pass me that sugar paste, would you?" The Summer Fairy happily put down the block of chocolate she was using to decorate the front door with, and walked over to hand Ivy the paste as she struggled to get the pretzel gate in place.

The exterior of the house was just about complete. With the use of some fairy dust the fairies had sped up the work. Sun Fairy Pari and Winter Fairy Tia had also arrived some time ago and joined the first four fairies with finishing up the place. Now the house stood almost completed. The sugar windows were done along with their wafer cookie panes. The pretzel fence was complete, and Ivy let out a sigh of relief as she finished the gate. Nitzie flew down from the roof after placing the last of the gumdrops in place. Pari sprinkled a bit more fairy dust to get the candy and sweet trees and plants to finish growing. Sakshi and Nitzie walked over from where they had started working on the garden.

"I think it needs a chocolate fountain in the center to complete it," Sakshi suggested. Tia nodded her head in agreement.

"Aren't we out of chocolate, though? I thought Alia used the last of it for the doorway."

"I ordered some more," Nitzie called out as she joined the two. "The delivery demon should be here any moment with it."

Ivy settled down next to Alia and Pari on the pink rock candy bench. "Do I need to go get him since this place is hidden?"

Nitzie shook her head. "No, that's the power of the delivery demons. They can get to where ever the one they're making the deliver for is. In fact they-" A sudden noise in the distance had the fairies looking up startled. "I bet that's him!"

The fairies all jumped up in excitement and raced towards the gate where they could see someone standing next to a huge stack of boxes. As the fairies drew nearer they saw the perplexed look of the handsome demon turn into a devilish smirk. Suddenly the smell of chocolate wafted through the air and their attention was immediately caught by the huge boxes sitting behind the gorgeous delivery demon.

"AHHHHHHHH!!!!!" Alia fainted into a drooling Tia's arms, the excitement too much for her. Nitzie and Pari both came to an abrupt halt a short distance from the arrogantly smirking demon their eyes widening and hearts appearing in their eyes. Sakshi and Ivy didn't waste a second. The two took off screeching towards the demon with their arms stretched out. Running a hand through his hair the demon stepped forward ready to greet and enjoy the fawning of these gorgeous fairies.

A second later the demon found himself flung to the side as the two fairies barreled past him and pounced on the boxes. "CHOCOLATE!" Stunned he watched as the other fairies recovered and flew over to help tear the boxes apart, and pull the delicious chocolate out.

"YES! Now we can start on that fountain!"

Excited chatter filled the air as the fairies quickly dashed back and forth past the still stunned demon as they dragged the chocolate back through the gate. Pari suddenly noticed the fallen delivery guy and rushed over to help him. "Sorry! Sorry! Erm...do we need to sign something?" Wordlessly the demon passed the Sun fairy a pen and clipboard and she happily signed her signature. Handing back the clipboard and pen, Pari nodded in farewell and skipped over to grab another box.

Snapping out of his shock the demon quickly called after her. "Hey, wait! Do you need any help?" So what if they hadn't been drooling and screaming over him, no female could resist the charm of a demon. He would make sure these fairies saw nothing but him before he left. And if that meant hauling boxes and doing whatever else to get them enchanted with his strength and looks, well so be it! Without waiting for a response he hauled up the rest of the boxes and carried them to where the rest were piled up near the garden.

The fairies nodded in thanks before quickly starting to work together on assembling their fountain. Annoyed at being ignored he once more tried to get their attention. "Anything else I can do for you lovely fairies," he asked flirtatiously.

"Huh?" Tia glanced over in confusion. "Oh, no thanks. We're good." Saying so she returned to chattering with Sakshi about what the fountain should look like."

"We need some sort of centerpiece for it," suggested Nitzie.

"I really do insist. I could be a lot of help," interrupted the demon once more. The fairies didn't hear him as they continued to discuss the fountain.

"But what kind of centerpiece? And what should we make it of?"

"How about a peppermint centerpiece...the fountain itself is also made of peppermint after all."

"Good idea but-"

"I can be of great help!" Snapped the demon. His sudden exclamation had all the fairies looking up startled.

"What was that?" Alia asked in confusion.

"A demon centerpiece!" All the fairies turned to the extremely excited Earth fairy. "You could model for us," she explained to the demon. The other fairies cheered in agreement as the demon nodded arrogant smile in place. Before he knew what was going on the other fairies had him standing in an odd position on one foot with his arms in the air as they worked on carving a block of red and green striped peppermint.

~15 Minutes Later~

"Isn't he such a good demon? He hasn't moved from his spot!" Sakshi remarked, pleased. The demon preened under the praise as the others nodded their heads. Ivy paused to stare at the handsome demon for a few moments and he winked at her. Unfortunately Ivy had already turned back to her friends by then and missed it.

"Can I keep him?" The demon's mouth dropped open in surprise and he stared wide eyed at the beautiful fairy. The others didn't even look up from their work.

"NO!"

"But I don't have any demons," she whined.

"Don't you think you have enough pets, Ivy?" Sakshi asked exasperated.

"No."

"Pets?!" Choked out the suddenly very worried demon. The fairies ignored him.

"You can't keep him, Ivy."

"But why not?"

The demon suddenly remembered other pressing deliveries that had to be made, and began to inch towards the gate.

"Because who's gonna bring us chocolate then?"

"Hmm...good point. But- HEY! Where do you think you're going? We're not finished yet!" Tree roots erupted from the ground and wrapped around the escaping demon holding him in place.

"Let me go!" He wailed. "I'm innocent! I haven't done anything!"

The fairies shot him concerned looks. "We didn't say that you did," responded Tia soothingly.

"Then why are you keeping me here?!" He roared.

"Well you offered to help. And it's rude to leave when we're not finished yet. Tighten those roots, Ivy. He looks like he's about to fall over." Ivy nodded in response and immediately the roots wrapped completely around the demon immobilizing him and stunning him into silence.

"We should hurry and finish. I think he may be ill. He's gone awful pale," observed Alia. The others nodded and immediately got to work again.

Suddenly Ivy's familiar, Hana, jumped over the fence and into their midst. "You need to return now. The others are looking for all of you," the kitsune warned.

The fairies let out a groan and quickly rushed over grabbing their stuff.

"What should we do with him?" Called out Alia?

"Leave him there," Nitzie responded. "We're not done with the centerpiece yet." The demon whimpered in response but the fairies didn't notice.

"Hey why don't we just take a photo of him? Here, I have my camera on me." Quickly moving towards the demon Ivy snapped a few quick shots before releasing the delivery demon. "Thanks so much for all your help!"

The demon didn't even pause before taking off as fast as he could for the exit.

"Well. He must have had some important delivery to make that he forgot about," Alia commented, and the others nodded in bemusement before hurrying off into the forest.
