@Fivr......I watched Edward sparkling in Twilight, so that memory was enough to last a lifetime. Didn't need to watch him again in New Moon. Did he also give those constipated expressions while dazzling in New Moon? In twilight, he actually beat Samrat, in making those 'i-am-in-great-deal-of-pain' faces.
Dude, I honestly don't remember.. I think I'm suffering from PTSD after I watched this movie because I've blocked everything out.. And New Moon mein we didn't get Edward until the very last 20 minutes (thank God for small mercies) so I am pretty sure he had those consipated expressions on his face the entire time. The poor guy thought Bella died *snorts*.. He was in pain.. *snorts some more*
This reminds me your and Sarah's discussion on which trio being worse- EBJ or ARS. Dude, it is ARS, hands down. Edward is awful, but no one can beat Armaan is perversion. And Bella is a confused soul....a hormone driven woman, but not really a **** like Ridz. As for Jacob and Sid....both are fools, but Jacob had the sense to 'move on'.
Uhh.. Uh... Maybe it's because I actually had to sit through and read the whole Twilight series (through no one else's fault but my own.. I admit) but I dislike EBJ just as much as I do ARS. If Armaan is a hormonal young chap, then Edward is (or at least tries to be one) a self-righteous moron. Who the hell gave him the right to decide for both him and Bella in a relationship, I know not. But he thought he had that right and he used it. That's when that character (not the actor or his expressions) turned unbearable for me. And jo bachi kuchi kasar thie woh RP ne aa k shakal bana bana k poori kar di.
Jacob and Sid are not very different either - BOTH of them like to pretend they can move on and not care but both of them don't. Sid keeps trying his "mahaan pati" act and Jacob kept acting like a hormonal juvenile and getting in Bella's face. The only time he really moved on is when he imprinted on Nessie, but then.. Was that even moving on?! Either way, if I had to pick one thing that made the series bearable, I'd say it was Nessie. Hands down.
Now let me come down to the two Mahan devis of this triangle - Bella and Ridhimma. Bella's I-love-him-but-I-want-you-around-too nonsense had me at the ends of my nerves. Kya problem hai bhai?! You love one person toh go live with him na, baki sab ki jaan kiyoun kha rhai hoo.. Her constant need to get Jacob to "understand" and "support" her was enough to make me want to jump into the book and smack her silly. He can't even wallow in self pity anymore? Because she doesn't like it? Who died and made her queen. I think Jacob's unbearable acts were Bella's doing. Seriously.
Ridhimma. *sigh* The day this woman grows a brain is the day pigs will fly. For someone who's adopted and been taken care of all her life, she's awfully self centered. All about her - her pain, her love, her desire, her husband, her boyfriend, her tears. Her. Her. Her.
*gun shot sounds*
P.S. I do understand that neither ARS nor EBJ deserve such a lengthy discussion on them - but ab topic khulla hi tha toh I thought I could vent.. 😆
