You know this track is reminding me of the film Maqbool.

For those who haven't watched it.......it basically has a backdrop of the underworld.But the main story is that : Pankaj Kapur and Tabu are married. But Tabu is in love with Irfan Khan who is Pankaj's younger brother.
Tabu and Irfan commit adultery.Irfan gets too jealous of the fact that she is married to Pankaj and finally both of them end up killing Pankaj.They remain happy for a while till the guilt starts setting in.In the end, Tabu goes mad and Irfan shoots himself.

Main point : you cannot build your dreams on somebody's shattered ones. Karma comes back to hit you where it hurts the most.
