Yesterday about the same as today while chatting with Mashood Khaty Bhai left the world.

Mashood broke down as he loved his bro so much and could never understand why he had to suffer so much. In some ways I guess he was relieved that the suffering was over. He himself had hardly slept a wink for the past few days.

OK...I CAME OVER HERE TO SAY JUST one line...

IM MORTIFIED AND SHOCKED!😭

am just up from sleep.....i woke up and as like always, i walk over to the PC and sit in front of it, switching it on.....just out of curiosity, i log into my long-left ID for a a sneak.....all this time BLISSFULLY UNAWARE of what PM awaited me.....i was at first surprised to see the two PMs....i thought people would've forgotten me already....but..when i clicked on them.....i dunno what to say after that...

MY EYES LITERALLY POPPED OUT!😲😲

just a split second, and i have a resounding silence in my heart thunsdering....i could'nt believe it......believe it or not, i was thinking of him only YESTERDAY NIGHT!!😕...i was just casually wondering what happened to him and why's he gone MIA for so long....when i get this shocker the morning after......

i dont know what words to utter....for no words can possibly correctly emphasize what i, you or others would wanna say.....words and words...cold, cruel and just - WORDS.😲

he was a kind, witty and brave soul- who loved to live and enjoy life......i never had the chance to know him well enough as others here....but i can say that he and me had struck up a wonderful rapport ever since the first time we talked- which was on his birthday threda. I still remember what he had said to me in response to my wish " Krystal ji kya baat hai bahut chamak rahey ho aap"....and then gradually, we talked more....he told me that my writing style resembled his close friend Koel's- and eventully we landed up in each others our Friend lists.

I knew he was not keeping well for sometime...thanks to summer, we all were aware that he had had multiple surgeries and frequently had to put up with a fragile health condition...but he was really strong...and he kept coming back. His siggy still rings in my ear:

"Khatarnak kabhi himmat haartey nahin

Maidan chorkay bhaagte nahin"⭐️

he didnt lose....he lived up to his fanmous sig lines......he fought till the very end....but this time he had to lose, i guess.....because he maybe had gathered the courage to move and and go into a far away, much better place than this Earth could offer.

i have nothing to say - except for the very boring and cliched - "May his soul rest in peace, and give all his near ones the courage to put up with this loss".....though we all know, we wanna say so much more, but words fall short.

Thanks summerji for talking abt Khaty bhai and sharing yr experences here..;let us all not feel sad.because that will hurt khaty bhai even more.We shall remember him as a true hero.
