Yeah the standards of shows have gone down world wide in general....what to do *heavy sigh*....we're left with such few choices if we want to watch something good

Yeah yeah...Everyone likes Fawad Khan n all...*rolls eyes* Hes a good actor no doubt....a veryy good actor in my honest opinion and the show is a lot more than romance and it will gonna turn tragic very soon...I think they aren't dwelling on hawtness per se .....just I think creating the old world charm with all those duppatta flying n sharmaoing...

The thing I like about Pakistani dramas are that they are more story and character based..They have an end planned and THERE is a story with 13 14 epis only.... but generally good shows on this side also are only rare to come ...saas bahu yahaan bhi bohat hai...

btw Pallo, if you enjoyed Anil in all his Oscars glory, I think you'll enjoy this interview of his with Abhay too.....seriously Anil is entertaining with his answers about his experiences in Hollywood and working on 24 etc. etc.

And I also agree with your second paragraph....that was the impression I got too about Pakistani shows in general...actually most shows around the world seem to have a finite story and characters etc....only Indian soaps seem to revel in their daily soap funda in general😆

No, no they FOUGHT first...🤣 You know the usual.....the guy toh was a goner at first sight only I guess...The girl then started loving him chupke chupke.....🤣 I don't exactly know much...I dont watch it....Zainu se poochna....Jokes apart and keeing that scene aside its a nice story, adapted from a classic book....but not MY type AT ALL....I can't stop laughing at that avi...Good thing I just watched a couple of epis.....

Lol. Good shows NEVER get their due. Waisey Fawwad is a good actor and is quite good looking but he never appealed to me that much.. Half of my friends just drool over him.. and like the music band EP just because of him.. But I've never seen any Pakistani show jis main a heroine acts that coy! Its scary actually! 😆

Edit: Waise Mash, do you think I'll like that show? 😛 I'm thinking of watching it.. but I dont wanna waste my time if it isn't good! 😛

ALL the saas bahu shows here are because of the Indian soaps popularity only...ppl are as crazy over here about them as they are in India...So of course kuch toh impact hoga...ppl thought that they just want the saas bahus ty shows only....Toh yahaan bhi shuru hogaya yeh sab...oh well entertainment toh is SO hard to get these days.....

I think we get a pakistani channel mixed with the indian channels on our tv or something. It's really weird. Anyways, I remember watching this random Pakistani show once. I think I saw the last episode of it or something.

The episode had this guy really interacting well with the family of the girl (who he loved), and it was cute. I think that guy didn't have a family of his own or something of that sort. Anyways, so ya eventually the girl and the guy get together. But it was so cute how they didn't make a big deal about it and all. It was just real, like normal people behaving. LOL I gotta say Pakistani shows are much more realistic than Indian shows for sure. Indian shows are just easier to make fun of 😆

And ya my mom and me were so surprised by this show and how real it was. We were like no way how did we miss this show! There's now way that's Indian. haha. :P

I went to this conference out of town a few weeks back, and I was talking to this random Indian uncle about bollywood movies and all. And so he gave me a whole pile of free pirated dvd's to watch!!! It was awesome, I was so excited. So I went home all excited to watch these movies, and they all turned out crap. I've seen Raavan, Badmaash Company, Kites and Raajneeti! And they were all bakwas! Ek bhi dhang ki movie nahin thi. And then I understood why that uncle wanted to get rid of those dvd's. 🤣 And I was all, wow he's SO nice, free movies YAY. 😆

O I guess minus Karthik Calling Karthik. That I did find decent...for a one time watch. :P 😆

We did interact while venting about MN! 😆 Kuch tou acha nikla MN ki barbaadi se.. 😆 Yeah we're discussing Pakistani show but mainly this one show Daastan which is really popular around here on IF.. 😆 Yes, Pakistani shows are a bit more realistic. Like Mash said, there ARE saas bahu shows as well which are irritating but other than that, the shows are much realistic.. Specially how the characters/families interact..

Oh and about IHLS.. I suggest you do watch it once. Story isn't all that great.. neither did I find Imran Sonam that amazing, individually even.. but Kavin (i.e Huzeifa of R.com) was hilarious in it.. 😆 😆 and songs tou are really good as well..
