I knoww! All the over exposure has ruined their images. Things were better off about two decades ago when celebrities were more or less mystery figures. The internet - and more importantly, social networking - has killed the charm. I mean just go to the Bollywood section. Everyday there are new pics of some celeb or another attending an event. You see these people everyday, everywhere. You hear from them and read their views at the convenience of a few clicks. The more you learn about them, the more they put you off.

Exactly, Sarah....today we live in the age of internet and social networking sites....overshare is the trend of the day....every chindi person is off on these sites sharing every lame detail of his/her life....and these celebs...there was a reason that the movie screens are referred to as 'big screens' or 'silver screens'....there was an enigma to them....they were thought of as larger than life....that's why they intrigued ppl....but aaj kal toh every raaste chalta person is online....and baantoing gyaan....and there is a taker for every sort of 'gyaan' it seems....lol....I'm sure ppl can argue for this both ways....but personally I really am not interested in knowing every chindi detail from the life of a celeb that I may like....

I think this age of overshare thanks to all these networking sites has killed the joy of simple face to face communication in many ways.....I'm not denying that there are many positives otherwise to communication having become so much more widespread globally....but I feel that somewhere we all have lost something as well....everyone is too busy thinking about what they can 'tweet' next rather than actually talking to the person in front of them.

You summed up my thoughts perfectly! Couldn't have said it better myself.

Internet communication is great only as long as you're not a celebrity. I don't care about knowing every detail of their lives. Take Shahid for example - like you and GG said, he was much more endearing before he started to tweet. Or look at Arjun Bijlani. I used to like him until he cracked lame jokes in his interviews and blogged about how 'hurted' he was by the anti-Mayank comments.

It's beyond my understanding why every aira gaira has to go online and share the lamest details with the general public. Thank god Twitter/Facebook/YouTube didn't exist when SRK was at his peak. Considering some of the utter nonsense he has spewed at award shows and interviews, who knows how annoying his blogs or tweets would have been back then.

MJ once said something along the lines of the enigma / larger than life point you made. He didn't believe in over exposure and said that artists were more appealing when they weren't seen by their fans ALL the time - the mystery element kept fans more intrigued. I guess he was right, now that I think about it.

Now, Riddhima walks out of Sid's home in Dill Mill Gaye

11 May 2010 | 7:08pm 212 Comments

Efforts of Armaan to unite Sid and Riddhima will go wrong, with Riddhima walking out of her husband's house in Star One's Dill Mill Gaye..

Star One's Dill Mill Gaye will now witness Dr. Armaan (Karan Singh Grover) taking all the steps possible to unite Sid (Karan Wahi) and Riddhima (Jennifer Winget).

As we know, a Karva chauth sequence has been planned wherein Armaan tries to bring Sid to break the fast of Riddhima. However, Sid refuses to believe that Riddhima loves him and has kept fast for him.

Soon after this, there will be a Kites festival incorporated in the track wherein Armaan thro' a song will try to unite Sid and Riddhima.

According to our source, "Soon after the Karva chauth sequence, all will be seen having some fun playing kites. The interns, Armaan, Sid, Riddhima, Shashank and others will be there in the sequence. The number 'Aal izz Well' from 3 Idiots will be used for this particular sequence. While Armaan will try to unite Sid and Riddhima, the interns will try to unite Naina (Neha Jhulka) and Yuvi (Sehban Azim). However at the end of this, Sid will get furious over Riddhima yet again, which will ultimately break the patience of Riddhima. She will burst out in anger and tell Sid that if he does not require her in his life, she better walk out of his house. With this, Riddhima will take the major decision of moving out of Sid's house".

This development again shatters Armaan's plans of uniting the married couple. He then will go to meet Sid at his home to convince him to get Riddhima back.

"Here, the creative team is planning a fun sequence wherein the neighbours of Sid misunderstand the relationship between Sid and Armaan, and come to a conclusion that they both are gays", informs our source.

We tried calling Jennifer Winget, but she remained unavailable.

Amidst all this fun and drama, we need to see whether Riddhima does return to Sid or not!!
