May be I am reading too much into the last scene between BnB in the recent episode, but I felt that this time it was a bit different than the usual. For some reason, I believed that Brennan had some kind of affinity to that Zeus myth, almost as if she believed on some level that it was true, not the two faces and four arms part but the "completing each other" part, if not believing in it, at least she seemed to have understood the metaphor i.e. she didn't take this bit literally like she usually does, is what I felt. The way she said "condemning US all to spend OUR lives trying to complete OURSELVES" , did you observe that Brennan used pronouns there? Usually, when she is sharing some anthropological facts or myths with Booth, she uses very formal structure of language, I mean her emotional disconnect from the myth/legend she is stating is clearly evident in the manner she speaks since she uses very technical terms or common nouns, her eyes also didn't seem as cold when she was sharing the myth with Booth. May be Brennan just did that so that Booth would find it more appealing/fancy if she presents it to him that way . Booth also reacted in a surprising manner, he would have normally believed the "completing each other" part, which I suspect he DOES because of the way he looked at her after she said "complete OURSELVES", his look seemed to imply that and after that also, he only touched upon the four heads/four arms bit as a part of expressing his disbelief wrt the myth without mentioning anything about the "completing each other part". Booth either disregarded the myth entirely to play along along with Brennan since he knows that she isn't someone who is likely to figure out the literary sense of that myth or he is also working on turning himself into rational/logical guy in order to appeal to her 😆. I basically wanted to say that the BnB dynamic in this episode was a little different from the usual according to me....

Ummmm...Woaah...You are extra observant Kavz...I really didn't look into the scene that much...I'll go watch the scene again... Waise on the surface level I didn't find their rlationship dynamics that changed from the usual...

Anyhow, that apart, I felt bad for Sweets this week- loved the little bit between Hodgins and Sweets. After Zack, I think Hodgins shares a good chemistry with Sweets, more than Wendell. All the Hodgins-Sweets scenes have been good so far 😊. Yeah that bit was sweet...I like Hodgin's car...LOL...Even Booth was sweet to him in the starting...going to him FIRST than to the skeleton...Coming to Angela, finally the mystery is solved- I always wondered how Brennan managed to write the love story and the parts with steamy scenes and stuff 😆, now it makes total sense to me 😆. I only wondered about the characterization and the love story..I thought she was capable of writing sex scenes...lol...but yeah Drunken Angela adding her tid bits make sense too.... Coming to the case, I did not understand why that officer killed the blind guy, what was the motive? 😕 Areyy, love was the motive yaar...Th lady left her boyfriend-that guy who gave her the gun-because of the excellent love letters she thought that Colin guy has written...so then when she knew about it..she killed the guy who actually have written those letters...pretty stupid..eh? Another bit which I could not understand was the reason behind Booth calling Angela to express his surprise about the real brain behind the steamy scenes in Brennan's books, my doubt is what exactly did Booth call Angela for? Where did that conversation lead to? And what was the idea behind incorporating that conversation? 😕
Yup that was random IMO too...
Brennan would be happy to know that had I been one of the readers of her books, I would have certainly enjoyed the facts part more than the fiction part 😎 .

P.S: I don't even know whether the stuff I typed about BnB above made sense or not 🤔 Ummmmm....loll

@Anu: I didn't say that the dynamic was completely different but it was a little different from the usual, at least that is how I felt. I guess you are right about Brennan being relaxed this time, that is probably why I thought that it was a tad bit unusual. And yes, I too liked that "Me, joking? No" bit lol

I DESPISE that Daisy no matter what and her constant "Lancelot-ing" makes me wanna strangle her uggghhhh WHY is Sweets marrying her? *bangs head on Booth's "cocky" belt buckle* but the cancer-cured guy dying was really really sad :(.

Ohh, I never noticed Hodgins' car before LOL

@Mash: If THAT was the motive then it IS pretty LAME
, so that means the officer killed the guy who wrote the letters for revenge? She obviously has psychological issues-sick woman!

And I watched the BnB scene a zillion times over to make sure that I wasn't reading too much. When I watched the first time , I thought "something is not usual about this conversation", so I rechecked again as to what sounded different to me and I felt it was Brennan's manner of referencing in pronouns, like when she started the conversation also she went "...... humans had four arms and two faces......"

Anu..You are right it was a genuine advice but I still think it was a fake attitude/attire/mannerism...overall a fake identity. Baki Rohan toh is what he is...but his lack of respect for women is quite a turn off for me...

Anyways coming to our Bones....WTF?! I forgot about this scene..they chopped it off??!!...hmph!

Mash, I only watched bits of Shakti's 'sasural genda phool' act.....yep, it was really good.....I couldn't watch the whole epi cuz it didn't get recorded properly again :S lolll.....will try to catch up to it later....otherwise it was a pretty average epi....Punit's MJ act was HORRENDOUS....I can't believe he got good comments for that....The mentors have started to lack credibility in my eyes in some ways.

People just need to leave MJ alone. Like seriously. That Punit guy's performance was so awful that it would have made MJ turn in his grave, lol

*raises hand excitedly* Mash, I saw it and I LOVED the Mahi-Shiv scenes too, especially the gol gappa rendezvous on the chatt and the conversation before it. You know , the bit where Mahi says "Tum bahut acche types ho na" to Shiv and he goes "phir se gaali!" almost scandalized , I remembered mine and my best friend's convo (the guy I was talking about the other day). He too is like Shiv on some levels only I am NO Mahi lol, anyways, when I state in a matter of fact manner sometimes that he is the good , nice and all things great type , he reacts with a "this is an insult" comment LOL so when I saw yesterday's episode , I could relate to Mahi-Shiv's friendship on a personal level :D
