I believe that the books are only a bahaana... and we enjoy chatting, but we must have a way of separating posts that are about the books (or on a tangent thereof); and posts which are not about the books. JK 😃 But this decision will definitely reduce my posts. I use chrome, and it's a pain to do the tagging part for colorful posts. I don't intend to move to Firefox or any other browser. So see u guys only on weekends 😭

LOL... Ekta, that can't be true... RW is also using Chrome... and what you have done seems alright too... (I'll also ask RW to share her secrets with you)---

Bersides, it seems that you are enjoying teen pyali chai a lot, and we have no choice but to make you finish it and move onto something else. (I read "the revolutionary road" for more than 3 months... I was absorbing everything in the book... but at the end of it, I just realized how boring and drab it was...)

The problem with Chrome arises when you want to quote someone else's posts. With all the customizations that u guys do, I end up removing the tags for the diff fonts and italics/boldings etc. Which is not possible if I end up in an active discussion. By the time, I am done with my cleaning up part and post, the original post might be 4 pages down the line.

Coming back to RW ji, if u have ever observed most of her posts are pretty plain and black in color too. Chrome isn't rich-text enabled, so it definitely is irritating at times.

@ Teen Pyalil Chai, I have just read the first 20-30 pages, but I got more into reading all other stuff abt Greg Mortenson and his works. I am infact attending a workshop they r organising in DC sometime arnd the end of April. I even skimmed through a couple of pages through his 2nd book. I am not the biographies kind of person. So I am trying to gather as much as I can from other sources instead of reading the whole book.

Let me know what you need to be done with ur system 😊

P.S. @Me being happy/unhappy abt other books. I don't really mind what book we read, as I don't really contribute much to the discussions anyways.
Edited Again : As far as the book I suggested, I don't know how that would be. I wanted us to read something about the life of Dian Fossey and this book was the best pick among the available options. I actually wanted to suggest everyone watching "Gorillas in the mist", but since its a reading club...I suggested that book. But I have better suggestions now. Will send them to u sometime later after we r done with this list.
