Well, they looked more like kings and siblings who were ready to fight at the drop of a hat. I did watch the movie yesterday night and Kevin Mckidd has a bit of influence on me right now..😛.
In the book I liked Chiron over all the Gods I guess...

Yeah all the Gods seemed quite petty and Frivolous considering they are all mighty beings....and what is with the extramarital affairs.
I might have to check Kevin Mckidd out😉

I watched Grey's anatomy for a while and he was one of the doctors in that TV show... 😳

So these Gods are the protectors of the western world... That reminds me who is the protector of the eastern world???

I liked Hades..Ok the guy lives in underworld ..That does not necessarily mean he is bad 😳
Basically all the gods were selfish.
And Zeus is like some teenager throwing tantrums..

Indra is supposed to be Zeus's eastern counterpart...
And From What I know of him, from mythologies the guy was always busy with drinking and carousing and running to GOD at the slightest trouble

Yup... Hades looked more matured than the rest. If Gods didn't know who stole their power gadgets, then God being Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient doesn't make any sense at all.

Indra being Zeus counterpart makes sense 😛. There are a lot of Extra marital affairs in Greek myth...😆.

And also Gods move to the stronger places to rule the (western) world??? Thats like man makes a place powerful and commanding, and these Gods go to that place to rule them... It took me a while to sink in 😕

Hey guys!!! Can we slow down on our book discussions?

Can we take a day's break before we actively plunge into the discussions?

I get only 1hr a day to read the books, and would require atleast 2 days to finish any book. I don't like joining discussions when they are already in full-swing and that would only make me skip this book too. I have downloaded the PDF with the good intention of reading it, but I may drop it if I feel I can't live-up to the speed!!!
