So here I go.......
Frst....is the meaning of Ishta...i.e.....which God we should worship as our chosen diety! So Krishna explains it very clear that frst of we fulfill ol our desire n needs frm d work or jo we perform...so it is d Karma...or work which z to be worshipped! The 1 who fulfills our basic needs, who gives us means for our survival (aajivika- vahan) is our Ishta!
Whom z to be worshipped??
Wen d Brajvaasis were making preperations for Lord Indra's Hawan....Krishna questions that wat does Indra give to ol of us?? Wen Brajvaasis answer that he gives us rain...rain gives us crop...n frm this crop..we earn our basic amenities of life....so Indra z the Lord...! Bt Krishna points that....Indra is only a devta that too a 'Vilaasi deva'...he cannot be d almighty becoz if he rules over d clouds...there is someone...who rules on him...who made him.....!! Bcoz the Shrishti was present before d very birth of Indra.....so there was a power who made evrything!! So wat abt the Yagya??? Krishna tells that the Grt Goverdhan hill gives food to our cows, d cows graze there, frm which the cattle gain strengt n give us milk....we sell d milk n earn our living...so d ultimate source of our survival z d Grt Goverdhan hill! He serves, he feeds us just like a father without demanding anything frm us... !!! So we ought to respect d grt hill n worship d grt hill as our Ishta!

Nandbaba, Yashoda maiya, Rohini ma, Krishna-Balraam wth all d brajvaasis went to worship Goverdhan....they applied sandle-paste to it....fed d hill various desserts, Pakwaans n ol....The Giriraj Goverdhan was very pleased n appeared wth four arms in a large form in frnt of d Brajvaasis n ate each n evry offering made to him by d innocent Brajvaasis! Goverdhan n Krishna r 1 form......many of d Gopikas were starteled by seeing d similarities of faces of Goverdhan n Kanha....they differed only in d no. of arms😆 Giriraj ji asked to angel anything....n Nandbaba angled the welfare n happiness of Krishna-Balram! All Brajvaasis went merrily after worshipping their 'real Ishta'!
Fury of Indra
Indra was very angry that d Brajvaasis have stopped his worship n served a hill???? Indra thought being under d grip of his vanity that d Brajvasis have gone mad wth d wealth...which z given by him.....they have forgotten all d rains which was so called gifted by him to d raj which gave them all that prosperity...so he now decided to punish d Brajvaasis. He called d very furious of his clouds-Samvartak cloud which brings hurricanes n floods.....The cloud began to lash d Braj...all d Brajvaasis prayed d Lord of Braj-Krishna to save them.....they were now in his shelter....
Indra-maan bhang/ Goverdhan-lifting
Krishna took no time to lift d grt Goverdhan frm his left arm's little finger....At one side d Samvartak clouds were showering horrifying rains...on the oter Krishna was comfortably holding d hill n playing flute....which was just vanishing d fears of Brajvaasis......all were singing in d praise of Goverdhan n Krishna!!! Mahaprahuji b'fully expalins n compare d situation of sky n Braj....he says.....there were furious Shyam varna clouds on one side....so on d other there was d very elegant n bhay-aran Ghanshyam.....the very frightenning lightening frm Indra's Vajra was ruling d sky...n our Braj was ruled by no less than a combo of 1000 lightenings Radhikaji.
The procedure went upto 7 days....clouds had no strength n no water to shower!! Ultimately Indra got defeated....Krishna told evry1 to exit frm d shadow of Giriraj ji.
All d attempts of Indra had made him paralysed, his Vajra was left without bleam... he had no way left......he took d shelter of d very merciful Lord-- Lord Krishna. Indra apologized of his mistake...Krishna told him that.....he z a dev n should behave like d same....he is devraaj and a king serves his subjects like a father....he is not supposed to bribe d innocent people to offer him services....in leiu of d life-giving rains. Indra realized his mistake....n prayed Krishna! Krishna blessed him....n Krishna was given a new name by Surbhi cow....to save d life of ol d cows...becoz Indra d duty which Indrashould have performed to protect his subjects....that was performed by krishna...so e n no one else was the King or Indra of cows....so he was named- Gov- Ind= Govind!!
Btw Mahaprabhuji expresses is very divine n grt views that Indra had no powers to lash Braj....bt becoz Goverdhan hill had eaten sooooo much n no one in d whole earth had that strength to bath d hill, worshiop him, so Krishna himself frm his Yoga shakti n will to break Indra's vanity did d whole Lila!!!😍
